I think it would be awsome if Barbarians got tracking, when I looked into the feat I was very surprised that only rangers got it. Barbarians are at home in the wild like rangers and rely on hunting just as much, probrobally more, then rangers.
Barbarian trackers
Rangers are the only ones who get the feat for free in PnP. Barbarians have plenty of other advantages already.
Barbarians get extra speed and DR(Percentages) if they keep pure.
Rangers get tracking at 2 and bonus to speed in wild
Druids get tracking at 6 and bonus to speed in wild.
Maybe a case could be made though for barbarians not needing campfires to rest or something?
I can't imagine a huge tall loincloth-wearing muscled mutha needing a warm cup of tea and a bedtime story before he can finally manage to fall asleep.
Barbarians may be wild men, but they're not men of the wilds. Come on.
Even Daniel Day Lewis needs a campfire when he rests outside.
Why not just class into ranger then, a simple solution and one that would give you the concept of a tribal hunter, kinda like Hawkeye in last of the mohicans. Actually might have try this at some point for a character.
Giving Barbarians the "Track" feat would indeed be no good, unless of course it was simply made into a feat in which any, and all classes could take it (i believe this is how track is used in PNP D&D). As previously mentioned Barbarians have already undergone a change to give them some very nice bonuses while remaining Pure barbarians.
Barbarians are good as they are. They should need a campfire and bedroll to rest. Though they may be considered a 'nature' class, they still need basic things to provide their well-being. Barbarians often live in huts or yurts, isolated from society. Take, for example, the current nomads on the Mongolian steppes, or the camel-herders in Northern Africa. They would be considered nomads, as they trek about with lightweight, movable tents and only have the things they need with them. Means for fire, among them. Anyway, I'm getting slightly off-topic here, I think. But just posting BRBARINZ R GOOD just doesn't adequatly tell you my motivation.
Seriously. They're good.
While it would be awesome, it's not desirable for balance fixes and the ruleset we're playing by here on EFU, so sadly this won't be happening.

Excellent idea. We'll need to implement it so that all non-barbarians buy a storybook and tea or they can't sleep. This should apply to inns too actually.
The Western Hinterlands Book of Faerie Tales will finally have another use.

Anyone under level 4 needs a teddy.
