CHARTER OF THE SANCTUARY LIBRARY As established on the twenty-fourth day of the Mirtul of our Hundredth-Fifty-Second year
Charter The Sanctuary Library shall have as its principles:
- Neutrality, by recognizing that knowledge is imparted upon all men by Reality and the Gods, without political slant or inherent nature of any kind.
- Organization, by recognizing that knowledge is often lost due to a lack of proper filing practices, and that organizing the body of knowledge contained herein shall only enhance our ability to consult it at our discretion.
- Transparency, by recognizing that only through cooperation with the community of Sanctuary can this institution fulfill its true goal of improving the lot of those who reside in these forsaken Depths.
As its duties:
- Relentless work to better the lot of our fellow Sanctuarians, through the production and propagation of knowledge.
- To serve Sanctuary's interests first and foremost, above all else.
- To work, as necessary, to improve Sanctuary's conditions in the fields of public health, education and to assist her with the development of military technologies for the purpose of defense, if necessary.
- To collect and store a proper body of knowledge produced and acquired by the citizens of Sanctuary.
- To work continuously to bridge the gaps that have formed themselves in the bosom of our community, so that we may all welcome the future with open arms, not as a divided township but as an united community.

Updated deed The former Fathand Bank property, now the Sanctuary Library, is the private property of Absolom Dar Ehring with the following conditions in addition to standard property laws:The Sanctuary Town Council
- No submission to the library will be censored.
- No citizen shall be denied access to the library unless they have committed a criminal act on or near the premises.
- No citizen shall be charged coin for the use of the library, excluding private business operated on the premises by persons unaffiliated with the owner.
- An additional One-hundred (100) gold pieces will payed during each tax collection.
Attributions of the Staff
- Permission to move submissions is restricted to authors and library staff.
- Permission to modify submissions is restricted to authors.
- Author permissions may be granted or willed to another individual by the author.
Transfer TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF THE SANCTUARY LIBRARY FROM VARLAM NIKITOVICH TO ABSOLOM DAR EHRINGThis document (the CONTRACT) shall stand as written testimony endorsed by Varlam Nikitovich (the HOLDER), accepted by Absolom Dar Ehring (the RECIPIENT) and witnessed by a government official of Sanctuary (the OFFICIAL).
The RECIPIENT shall henceforth be recognized as the legal owner of the Sanctuary Library (the PROPERTY) and is responsible for all the duties and contraints this entails, established in the prior deed. The HOLDER forfeits his recognition as legal owner of the PROPERTY and is freed from all the duties and constraints established with the prior deed.
