Lieutenant Lothor

I would like to request the reason criminal records were not placed for public display regarding this election. The law was passed many terms ago that the Watch must post these every election, with a request or not. If this was an oversight, please keep this in mind for the next election.

Andrew Deepingdale

Councilor,

I'll pass your words to deputy-scribe Mindis. - Lt. Lothor, Sanctuary Watch.

Lieutenant Lothor

The Watch is reminded to uphold the arms dealings taxes required. According to the reports from the Office of the Treasury, it is 10 gold / transaction, or 1000 gold for a full arms merchant. There are planty of merchants who are not signed up. Please see that they pay their taxes, and the money is recieved at the Office of the Treasury. I trust the Watch can maintain records, and keep the Council informed?

Andrew Deepingdale

Deepingdale,

It's hard to control trade between adventurers, but the local merchants are all following that rule and we will break down on the regular merchants regarding this law.

- Lieutenant Lothor, Sanctuary Watch.

Lieutenant Lothor

I am aware I have been sending you a lot of missives, but I have been attempting to make the budgets the best that they can be. I will not yield to sleep until I can make significant progress on this. I am of the understanding that most of the Watch recieves enchanted chain, which is a significant expense for the Spellguard to enchant. I would like to know the difference in coin between purchasing enchanted watch chain, and buying plain, unenchanted, heavy armors. A set of fullplate, banded mail, or half plate, would protect better than most enchanted chains. Looking over your budget, I am unsure who pays for all of the armors. Yet if we can relieve the Spellguard of any of their budget problems, we will be able to allocate more money to the Watch- and likewise, if the Watch can remove extraneous problems, more money can be diverted elsewhere.
