A Spellguard Apology?

Many cycles ago, the Spellguard aided by the Watch culled the Unseelie feys from the canal and while doing so, the Agents of the Spellguard stole a few eggs of a monstrous gigantic mutated spider. The same spider that was incubated by them and protected by their animatrons until it could be released to kill and destroy the Montezzi Realm, whom had been a thorn in the Spellguard’s power for a long time.

Doing so with these cowardly tactics led to the massacre of many innocent along with the Prince in the Sanctuary Below, but it also led to anger the Dragon to whom our relations were already tenuous and to whom, at Kainth’s dismay, the city depend on.

Now, reparation demands that the Spellguard Commander stop feigning ignorance for this attack and takes responsibility for the cowardly acts his order has done. It doing so, apologizing to the People below. That is all that is asked of him to repair the alliance, yet- will he do it?

The answer is no.

Even as most of the soldiers of metal have been recalled, Sanctuary still stands proud and tall after a great many invasion ranging from Orogs to Ape-beetles. We are not as weak as the Spellguard makes us think we are, yet, our only requirement of them at the moment is to publicly apologize for unleashing a –Monster- on the Sanctuary below in order to repair relations with Etorix.

The Spellguard controls most of the higher hierarchy of the city, but not the common man and adventurer! This is why Kainth brings this –you-. Pressure the Spellguard and the Council to force the Spellguard to make their apology and we will be a step closer to Peace. Make sold-out liars such as Dentra understand what the city wants. If an apology is all that is required for peace, is that too much to ask?

Kainth's word are done.

A medium sized crowd turns out to hear Kainth's latest speech, and is largely unimpressed by his words. Rumblings can be heard ranging from the Spellguard being the only ones to actually do something about Montezzi, to Kainth's version of events being a barbarian addled fantasy, to blanket acceptance that the Spellguard 'knows what it's doing.' Few seem to be interested in getting worked up over an apology in the matter.
