Letter for the Desert's Merchant.

The last time we spoke, I was unsure of your reputation as a trader, but it seems that lately you've developed some rather ambitious plans and served clients I know of well. I'd be interested in cooperating with your Trade Consortium now that I hear you're aiming to offer a useful base for trading from as well as promotion of wares.

You mentioned you were seeking a building for use as a trade headquarters. I have identified several abandoned in and around Lower and may be able to arrange keys for one of them. There may also be a useful building in the Residential district.

If you've interest, contact me.

-Egon Rosenqvist

Greetings esteemed Egon,

I would love to have you in the Trade Consortium, as your reputation rivals mine now. I must ask what deity your worship, as it is company policy to let the buyer know. Send me what Divine spells you can imbue into wands, and what arcane properties as well.

It would be very nice if we are to receive a place for storage means, though I do not know if Lower is the right place. The Residential District is a fine choice, but I do not know if it is the right one.

I will add you to the list, and if you see any other Wand crafters, and potion brewers. Send them my way.

-The Desert's Merchant, Trade Consortium

Certainly, Merchant. [enclosed is a copy of one of the "Wand-erful Devices" flyers]

Egon,

Thank you very much, I shall add you to the Trade Consortium. You have still not mentioned what deity you give your thanks to. Also, I hope you do not mind, but I have added the wares in the list of things you are selling, to the Trade Consortium's wares.

When you are dealing with trade, let them know you are a part of the Consortium by using this crest below. For example "Egon of the Trade Consortium" or "Egon's Bardic Services, Trade Consortium".

AH, my apologies. It is Lurue that empowers my divine skills.

Egon,

The Woman Kairn, wishes to buy the Fortitude ring. Also, on another note. Have you found any suitable places to set up Shop within the City? I will begin to write letters.

-The Desert's Merchant, Trade Consortium

Merchant,

I shall find her as soon as I can.

As for suitable places for a trade hall, I have found some possibilities. The Shadow Tribe offer properties in the Canal Ward for sale or rent. Of these, there is one dwarven hall formerly of use by Clan Mithrilsoul that would make an excellent trade base.

So far as property in Upper goes, there are two options: The Rhunyorn Arms. At 2000 gold per month, expensive, but it offers security and storage.

The Last Stand. There is a custom leathers store and the Spellguard Associates already renting space there. The inn is well guarded by mercenaries as well. We could ask to rent space on the first floor. Additionally, it is convenient for trading meetings, auctions and the like. It would likely be cheaper than Rhunyorn too. In my judgement, the best choice.

There is a stall available for rent by the hour at the docks that may be of use for one-off sales. The same goes for the Upper market.

I have been offered a position as an entertainer at the Cloak n' Coin Inn once it opens. As an part-time employee, I'd likely be able to trade on the premises.

Doisur Shor of the Crone would likely not be interested as Cyrus provides him with security and storage already.

-Egon

Egon,

You have found some grand areas! The Stand is likely the best choice, as it is close to most of our customers, easy to get to, and likely cheaper then the armory.

Our list of members so far are..

-Conika: Potions of Eldath's healing. -Piper: Entertainment for auctions, perhaps salesman. -Egon: Wands of Lurue. -Valzen: Merchant of Wares -Agent Prestes: Soon to be Wandcrafter/Potion brewer. -Arbichald?: Potion Brewer -Some Elf: Potion Brewer -Kal: Wand Crafter of Sheela Peroyl

And most likely some others.

I am on very good terms with the Ambassador of the Shadow Tribe, Lord Pyotr. I will speak to him about possible storage in the Canal.
