Quest: "The Sanctum of Thozarar"
Issue: All containers do not spawn any sort of loot.

When entering the quest recently, no loot was found in any of the rooms or on any of the placables, they were checked by multiple people but neither the Alchemists Tables, Chests,Ominous Bookshelves or Moaning Sarcophagus dropped a single item otherwise the quest opened and closed properly and (though the DM spice was heavy on this particular run) I can only assume that the spawns were working correctly.

Earth Alchemy : Critical Failure result produces an Earth Elemental + An Earthquake.

The reflex save for the earthquake is bugged and knocks you down + does (What I assume to be) full damage, It averages around 40 damage with a successful save
This, combined with the fact the elemental has around 30 damage a hit and +16 ab means this is almost always death, regardless of your setup or whoever you have around since the knockdown
rarely, if ever, effects the elemental itself.

As an aside, can I point out that this is an exceptionally cruel critical fail which is way higher in danger in comparison to all of the other ones I've encountered so far. - An elemental on its own is extreamely dangerous, but knockdown + damage as well (even with a save) is very much overkill.

A minor addition to this with, really very little benefit in game but could we allow this particular perk/background line to be able to use alternative items as rations (Guts, Sinews come to mind) and further to this, if they do consume a friendly undead creature allow that to be used as a consumed meal for purposes of resting as well?

Very minor, but beneficial as far as flavour goes, I guess.

The protection from mind spells aspect of this spell does not appear to work.

When cast, it has provided protection from no spells cast by a CN Sorc (Mesmer)

It also looks suspiciously like protection from good..

The most expensive blessing she offers is to remove "A terrible curse wrought by necromantic energy" or something like that..

Somewhat misleadingly, it actually casts restoration, not remove curse.

Could we perhaps change the text to make it more clear?

Hoo.. Well that was..quick!

Theadrik was an engineer through and through and loved stalking folk, laying traps and just outright making much - thought he only got to do a very limited amount of this in his time, given that it has been uh.. very abruptly cut short it was still immense fun!

From day 1 he was included in intrigue and spying on others, looking to produce a very special weapon, with a very special* gnome and eventually managed to join up with the auxiliary - an ill fated trip most recently though met his remains burnt up something fierce and with no option to return he's faded off.

Onto the next concept!


Thanks to the spellguard and aux and to Enders character Bidolt especially for making this short character a very fun experience!

The "Reroll failed rolls" check does not seem to function for the ways it can be used in the Serena tower, lower forge area, and only one roll is allowed.

Found that one of the incorrectly connected doors should lead to the Waterworks area.

The one from the waterworks into the chambers works fine. Just the reverse.

Its always hard doing bug reports without posting spoilers.

But here goes.

There is a quest involving trams. called "Stopping the runaway trams" I'm sure most of you know of it.

Now, after reading the lore text of the "Emergency Sludge sprayer" indicating that it is used as a way to emergency slow speeding trams, I figured, hey, thats just cool enough to work in a quest involving trams.

This however, was not the case. What did happen here, is that the tram went hostile, chased me down ~off tracks~ auto attacking me, and running me over. 3 times like some sort of homicidal thomas the tank engine.

So! Would it be possible for the Trams to be forced neutral, so they cannot go hostile, ever?

When unpolymorphing from the cursed battlestyle form your character is permanently knocked prone until relogging. Not entirely sure why.

Given the conditions to activate the form, its not too easy to test.

The Polymorph that curse produces does not have a weapon or a natural weapon and as such its damage is horridly bad which is somewhat suboptimal for something which is very much a "Fight for your life" sort of thing.

Would it be possible to give it either a natural weapon, or an actual weapon for the duration?

While I understand that cooking does have some beneficial items available, what I suggest is to really give, well, cooks a way to make money out of the work as at the moment players kinda see very little mechanical advantage to spending more money on player made food which unfortunately seems to require alot of time and resources on the crafters part to make.

What I suggest is that like some other storebought foods, that some of the food that can be cooked provides a minor but long lasting morale based bonus.

This could be a +1 vs fear, a +5 Temp HP a +1 concentration - you get the idea, nothing game breaking or even big - but something thats applied to you when you rest and consume the food, or consume the food directly (but is NOT lost upon resting or it'd defeat the purpose)

Thoughts?

I've been playing around with cooking for a while now and Have played with alchemy and herbalism before and I've got to say, its.. extreamely difficult to get into, even more so than the above (albeit without the chance of a sudden untimely death)

One of the major issues I find is that when you move into a certain area of cooking opening up certain items, the text description and colour rarely changes as it does near enough all the time in alchemy and herbalism, this makes it extreamely difficult to find new things because if you do find them, you dont even know you have!

Additionally, for the reward, the required input seems to be excessively high and while self serving, for the basic items which are fundamental to getting access to the other parts of cooking would it be possible to produce 2, rather than just one?

Finally, Raw meat is relatively easily come across. it can be found on rothe, cut from deep or stone lizards or found as loot in certain areas but fish is much much more difficult to find, desbite the abundance of dead silverfin you can only use specific Raw Fish items for the cooking and these only drop as semi-rare spawns from NPC's - It does not necicerily have to be that all silverfin are usable but perhaps introduce another type of fish that is? or a "Raw fish" item which drops while fishing?

Fairly simple, but fairly handy change.

When using any of the 1-3 "Steal spell" abilities provided on yourself, instead of getting the "You are unable to steal spells from yourself!" message instead give a quick rundown of the spells you have stolen, in which slots and what the next DC of that spell is (so you have an idea if you can cast it again after the next attempt)

Just a nice and easy way to keep an idea of which spells you know are in which slot and how much use you're likely to get out of it.

The Bonus's of a "bless" spell do not seem to be applied when the character sings either with a song, without a song, or with curse song.

Love it, I have to say I really do but one major flaw comes to mind in Ghostly visage.

Ghostly visage practically cancels out the damage from this entirely - which is in itself a very common spell especially for PvP.

Would it be possible perhaps to have the damage shields do damage at a +1 enhancement for the purposes of piercing damage resistance? or some other way around it, it just seems a little lame that a level 2 spell can counter the benefit of an entire perkline.

Another one bites the dust, as it were!

Shant go into too much detail about how he died, save to say it was running around about 30 reanimated zombies trying to get them to attack his assailants instead!

He was honestly one of my favorite characters so far, he was free, he was part of something larger, and it felt like he was moving towards something rather than just the day to day, fight, kill, exp, gold, level rinse repeat.

He did not achieve a massive amount (save going back to level 4 a record number of times) Though he did help retrieving a rare item on a scavenger hunt and getting a nice little trinket or two for it!

All dead now though, not really much in the way of screens, but I'll see what I can put together

Somewhat self serving but minor thing.

Would it be possible to give zombies either Improved unarmed combat (so they dont automatically attract Attacks of opportunity) or Weapon prof creature and a zombie 1d6 slam attack?

Well guys, you can consider him gone for now either walked off into the dark or whatever - either way he's not coming back.

In short, I've decided to retire the character.

It began really at a real interest in wanting to try out the necromancy system, something that has often interested me when its not just another line of summoning spells, but in truth over the last month or so I've begun to really, really not enjoy the character.

I don't feel that the char was really thought out well enough from step one; I didn't take the proper steps to really encourage him into a specific place, he kind of just..drifted along from one thing to another and never really achieved anything in my opinion.

It is however a learning experience and I have certainly come away from it with a good idea of what I want to do now coming out of this and how to go about it if I ever really want to get anything done.

No screenies, though feel free to post some if you want.
