Title: New PrC- Rot Master
Post by: Thomas_Not_very_wise on February 20, 2009, 01:32:36 AM
Or something similar along these terms.

Would be sweet if we had a PrC devoted to the Obvious presence of the Rot on the Isle!

Your implants don't make you powerful enough?

Imaro is a non app character, I have to earn those.

Why does everyone want something just for their PC? Really? >_>

Last time it was something for druids now its something for rot people.

Opposed. You already get rot goodies with the domain, and there are lots of other things (like implants) you can achieve with awesome play and/or an app (which you'd need for a PrC anyway). I really don't think rot priests need MORE power.

Opposed, same reasons as Ommadawn

Sort of a dead suggestion as you haven't added anything along with it!

So, a Rot-related PRC. But what?

The Rot PrC signifies a true communion with the Rot, not only are you its servant, you are a favored one, and it grants you more abilities than a normal servant of Rot.

Casting spells such as Barkskin once a day, Feeblemind, etc...will likely be involved in this class.

What everyone is sort of looking for, I believe, is why this would be different from any other Rot character?  How is being a Rot Master different from any other diseased or whatever the hell they are character that is already grossly alienated from the Ziggurat and most PCs?  How could being a member of this PrC possibly be more challenging or unique from the concept for Moander's servants that already exists?

I also agree that the suggested implants already compensate characters who choose this path enough.

Although I do enjoy setting-specific PRCs immensely, I have doubts whether a PRC solely focused on one deity would be worth it.

Could you not achieve the same desired result with implants and Divine Champion (Champion of Torm)?

Agreed. Thomas this PrC is far too specific.

No.

If you get Rotmeister I get Grey Guard. Balance and all, eh wot? ;)
