Watcher Wage

Could it be possible to tie the wage to any piece of the faction armor, like helmet or cloak, not just the armor?  Some people wear different armor (dyed to faction colors) and there is also no faction armor variant for 5/2 and an upgraded 4/4 (like the permanent favor armors).

Huh.. Random but related question. Should watchers be getting a wage at all currently. Are they all being paid for by the spellguard anyway (in which it should continue) or were they being paid for by the council?

Honestly it's more amusing watchers get a wage at all since most can't access it as the bank is in Final

There was a thread somewhere a while ago, describing how the Spellguard are immensely wealthy due to Final Sanctuary trade, banking, services, etc.

Any DM input on this maybe, if it's in any way desirable to WnW people to get paid even if they don't wear the tunic piece of the armor?

It is unlikely to change at this time. It was intentional that it is tied to their main piece of uniform, which is the big armor piece. While it makes sense to have such a setup where it can account if you wear other set with right colors, it currently does not and it is not high priority for us to change.


So in short, if you want to get paid, you'll have to wear the official uniform.
