On break at the moment, moving out at the end of this month has kept me pretty busy.

Aiming to be back come December when everything is set up.

Bug Reports / EQA - Myrmecoleon Fort
October 11, 2019, 10:09:26 PM
Pyromancers and the Pyromancer Lord don't attack/cast/do anything.
They just stand there, guessing its an AI bug.

Additionally, no Fire Trolls seem to spawn in the prison cells anymore, not sure if that is intentional.

Suggestions / Re: Peerage Script Infrastructure

Personalised prestige items that give more favour to certain houses than other would be cool, like a fine Velstran vintage or Nephezar artifact.

Make quests/dungeons reward more items of prestige, rather than just solely the dispensary.

If Prestige could be some sort of exchangeable currency, players could honour duel each other for prestige (or maybe even NPCs like mentioned before). Also lose prestige if they get their ass beat. This could also be a way for houses to interact with one another for items specific to their house, making bargains and what not.

Also if you're going to push Prestige hard, I would recommend adding more in the way of supplies to faction vendors. The faction specific things like armour/weapons/helmets etc are lovely but I think even exchanging a small amount of prestige for some potions would be good (then again, if you can exchange points, this could be a way that alchemist/brewers gain points themselves).

I don't really want this system to replace money completely but it would be somewhat fitting that prestige means nothing in Ticker Square, for instance.

I do also like the idea of being able to see how much prestige someone has acquired in total, maybe as an examine function, i.e. "this person seems to be a veteran retainer of House Velstra."

Agreed that it's hard to figure out where it would be okay but not too overpowering.

My personal preference would be either defeaning clang or something that uses up Bard Song. In hindsight I think outright giving flame weapon would detract too much from the classes that offer it.

In short, suggesting that bards get some elemental weapon enhancements so they can further flesh out a support role among parties, as this seems to one of the things that distances them from clerics, sorcerers or wizards (some of these examples are less comparable than others but you get the idea)

Suggestions:

1.) Flame Weapon

This would be simply adding Flame Weapon to bard spell lists, either as a level 2 or level 3 spell. If bards got this spell this way, I would think it would be fitting that bards only got the sonic variation no matter their preference. This would work as an ordinary bard spell.

2.) Defeaning Clang

Same idea as above, but implementing Defeaning Clang instead of Flame Weapon, either as a level 1 or 2 spell.

3.)  Flame Weapon (bard song version)

Same as 1, but you'd use Bard Song uses (in the same way Bard Song/Curse Song work) to get this effect rather than get it as a spell. Perhaps this could be a song sheet in-game to acquire or selectable as a feat.
(I have no idea if this exists already so sorry if it does)
