I never saw the character in game, but I knew he meant business, only from hearing EVERYONE speak about that dirty rat.

Well done.

Quote from: djspectre;372044However, if there was a way to grant exp based on the number of words your character emoted or spoke, I think that would be a better way to reward role-play with XP, especially for active characters at levels 8+ which likely are very prominent or cannot quest as much due to plot involvement. However, I don't know if that's possible.

^That's usually the best way to do it.

With automatic experience up to 6, I imagine we would see more players on the server at all time. I mean, people sometimes do not log in because the server has been up for two days and they can't gain experience because they've done all the quests.

Also, there's absolutely nothing wrong with rewarding players who log in and roleplay properly.

Fantastic character that got a lot of people together, to eat meat and throw boulders.

A shame he's now dead :(

Quote from: Merrick4;365803Sywyn would likely get you a raise with your other allies if possible, I don't know if you were totally decapitated to prevent a raise or whatever. If you want and it's okay with the DM's we would try to raise you.

Oh no, it's perfect as it is!

Thank you though.

I remember fighting him and he had some decent loot on him, though that might have been luck, more than anything else.

Suggestions / Illusion summoning theme - first level
January 18, 2014, 09:58:48 PM
This is rather self-serving since I'm currently using the theme but the level 1 summons can cast daze two to three times before doing anything, which is... troublesome, since daze is limited by HD.

Rather than defending my character, they stand there and cast daze, which has absolutely no effect on the creature they're trying to defend me from.

My suggestion is this : Remove daze from the spells they can cast, replace it by something else like flare or even, give them a single casting so the player is not forced to wait a few rounds to get his summons in the battle.

Of course the best suggestion would be to remove the HD limit on daze!

Well, well.

Elves have to die, eventually, and this is not exactly how I expected it would happen.

Earilmar was the sort of elf who thought mourning was now a waste of time, and that elves should strive to better themselves, in this new world.

I played him for a while, during the summer, then went on to other things and other characters.

When Liruwen's trial happened I figured I might as well show up on that character, for like at least an hour... which ended with my character joining the 'revolution' and living out of Lower Sanctuary for far longer than I expected.

This is a character who would most likely have joined the Ascensionists, in the end, a shame I didn't get to that point.

I don't have much in the way of screenshots, but here, have a few things.

Title says it all, my character died but still had the effect of combust on, and slowly took damage until he died again.

I'm now dead in the fugue, or death place, with no way to respawn.
