Hello Qari,

This is Knud writing.

We like your bellows.

If Faith keeps her arrogant stance and refuses any and all proposals and ways forward for us in regards to the Arena fight and our inevitable reassimilation into Ephia's Well, we will be forced to take alternative measures of which there are no limits- and we will be successful at.

Karl Skargrimsson,

I spit on your soup and step on your goat, fierce and foul mouthed uncle.

The artefacts you've shipped have been a tremendous pain in my balls. Nonetheless, with them, I have gained fame, glory and riches in the sands surrounding Ephia's Well.

You should visit sometime to explore these lands, uncle, to see what's south.

I wish to know what the peoples of Frostport are saying about your nephews, and about our family.
For it is my wish and desire to inspire our peoples to reave and adventure like the Jarl used to.

But not past the Frost Porte to the North, no, towards the South, to Qadira and Ephia's Well and maybe even Arslan. I hope we have been proving ourselves here, proving the point that through our peoples knack for battle merrit and prowess, raiding and reaving, we are capable of attaining both riches and glory. Let the Disc tell tales of feared and dreaded Frostportians. More than simple traders and fishermen.

Perhaps you will read these words with great disdain, it would be typical of you.
Then I demand at least you write back nothing but truth, else stain your honour.

Your nephews,

Knud and Ivar

Dear ambassador,

Word reached me and Ivar, sons of Skargrim, also known as the raider brothers, of your defense of us.

We appreciate your support. Tell us, if you have anything you'd ask of us. We would deliver!

It would be nice also, to know, whether word of our deeds has reached Frostport?

I imagine our uncle Karl Skargrimsson only has ill things to say- but that is alright.

Not all are suited to the way of the Raider!

Praise to Him, and to our Clan, and to our Hold.

Kind regards,

Knud and Ivar

Hi All,

Characters are making really cool speeches through bellows. But bellow speeches have little interaction.
People do this because bellows reach all in-game players and Discord, thus it is vastly superior than giving speeches in-game. Although we all should agree speeches or debates, on stage, in front of characters in-game are much cooler and open way more roleplay opportunities.

Thus I suggest to grant speeches the ability to be broadcast in-game and on Discord.

For example, from the Verdant Stage, or some other (new) stage.

Aubrey,

politician of the Well, it is I, dread bandit Knud son of Skargrim.
I have a proposal, if you wish, one could raid the quarry and reign victorious for the workers.

If all else fails, you can count on the Creep.

All it takes is coin.

Hi Jamileh Attar,

This is a note by Knud. The man who gave you this note cannot read and hasn't bathed for at least... since his birth most likely. Pardon for the stench.

You won't believe what happened after ye were soaked in and gone.
The words they spoke. The magic they unleashed.
The many waves of Tormented we bested.

We want coin and then we'll report everything that's happened straight to you.

Thank you.

Onion,

We are most pleased by you honouring your word and performing a skald's duty.
Myself and Ivar regret not seeing your performance upon the famous Verdant Stage.

Our Hangout has now been dubbed and changed into an Agasian Lodge, praise be to The Raider, Agaslakku.

Know that you are on the list of Honor Guests.
Come and receive your key, uncloaked.

With honour and glory,

Correspondence / The Legates from Knud Skargrimsson
June 03, 2025, 07:38:07 AM
Legates of Ephia's Well,

The Fourth were mocking me on the bellows and they paid the price.
My raiding continues but you may craft a (longstanding) ceasefire with me.

If you meet my demands.

1. A Lyrist graded lovepoem addressed to a woman of fierce martial ability, divine beauty, promising her riches beyond the many riches she already possesses. I'll insert her name myself.

2. The most beautiful bouquet of Ephia's most beautiful flowers.

2. An exquisite ceremonial weapon (i.e. for on a wall mount).

3. A bellow from the Legates singing praises about my martial prowess. No need to speak good of my deeds.

5. I want an expertly made statue of Agaslakku made and send to my storeroom property inside the Hanged Heron. We should honour our Spokes.

In return:

1. I will not raid Ephians outside Ephia's Well for some weeks at minimum.

2. I will entertain offers to bring in Kastante Meyer alive.

3. I will entertain offers to bring battle to your most powerful and hated foe(s).

Thank you, please send reply within a day. My life moves fast.
Silence is a no.

With great honour,

Knud Skargrimsson

Suggestions / Arslan start
May 26, 2025, 12:49:00 AM
Wouldnt it be cool and make sense for a new PC to come from Arslan? Since they belong to Ephia's Well, an adventurer there would have reason to come to us.

These pages belong to Knud. Do not read them.

Been a while now residing underneath Ephia's Well. The people here are mad. Living inside a complex and hard to understand system of Assterbendandies. Yet bending all their self imposed rules. Having no honor in battle, yet carry much mercy in the aftermath. None of it makes sense to me. It is as if they do not know who they are. We do not have that problem. Me and Ivar and all the other sons of Frost. We are of one mind.

The Raider is pleased by the adventure upon which we have embarked. No doubt about it. As well as at our conduct in defeat, wearing bronzen smile and welcoming death should it come. Were this Qadira or Il-Modo, I think we would already be dead. My family and friends home will have heard of my death and laughed. The mad bastard actually went ahead with his plans, here is a toast to Knud and Ivar. I know it would be like this. But here in Ephia's Well they have stolen my coin, thrown camel dung and humiliated us. Rather than kill us. It is a denial of glory! If these stories make it back home, everyone will be embarrassed.

So by this, I do not know whether to hate or love the Ephians for the fact I am alive.

BANE OF EPHIA'S WELL

[A wooden sign stands in the desert in the vicinity of Ephia's Well.]

The Raider had guided our humble ship whose sails caught much wind, with blessings of bronze, blessings of rust, blessings of salt and blessings of purpose, we arrived in Ephian lands.

Tales much exaggerated reached our frosty lands regarding your strength and victory in war. What has been heard also, is how much you've bled and how high your corpse pyre reached, a fire that was seen across the Ash Desert, a pile that nearly reached the stars.

By this, comes our opportunity. Riches and spoils, in your possession, and few survivors to guard it!

Agaslakku - The Raider - Commands us, Demands of us, To take!
And in his Bronzen glory, weapons ablaze, we will forge our own legends in your lands.

By your piked heads, By your splintered bones, By your broken Axes, by your bleeding corpses.

What is ours is ours - What is yours is ours!

The raiders have landed - Sons of Skargrim - Come, gloryhounds, join us under the banner of the Raider.

THE EPHIANS WILL BLEED THEIR COIN.

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Yaawar Al-Khalhid

Technically he is not dead yet. I have yet to login and get executed. Coming to your theatre very soon. But I have time now at work to write his Obit, so here you go.

I have taken many screenshots, my EFUSL notes are very involved.
However, since most PC's depicted and their actions are relevant to today, I cannot post any.

I did not have DM loot to share screenshots of. Please complain to the nearest DM.
Oh, on the subject of DM's, many helped me in-game with effects, emotes, vfx and always helped enhance my religious RP with some spooky Wroth stuff. That was really appreciated. Enhanced the RP for sure!

As concept I'd hoped to be a Rasputin / Worm-tongue kinda villain who'd corrupt others into doing his bidding, all the while using Urazzir's faith as a vehicle to achieve that. I have been surprisingly successful at that, and am happy with everyone who engaged with me and allowed for this to happen. It is good to see that player characters are taking the ingame religions and their priests seriously, it allows for a lot of thematic and dramatic RP and it's been a pleasure.

This was also my first Cleric that I'd say I'd taken seriously, I always deemed it a bit scary to play because of expectations but I think I fulfilled them really well and enjoyed it a ton. So definitely playing more Clerics in the future.

I managed to create a Cult and have assassins/spies/zealots roam the lands trying to cause havoc. Sadly failing at their jobs and myself failing at my job. Nerf Elf Plz.

T.Y. all

[The Tome may be found within the Temple of the Vigilante and within bookcases inside the Creep.]

The Soul Tome

A description and measurement of one's soul within the context of the Urazziri faith from the perspective of a novice and vigilante Makhyoon.

Definition of a Soul

The soul is what one imagines it is, thy compass through morality, thy own being and thy entry into the differing afterlives that art created by the Spokes of the Wheel. It contains essences of thy divinity and ancestry. It is possible to traverse life without soul, as an empty vessel, but it would hinder thee in the pursuit of meaning, thy spiritual growth and it would permanently doom thee to cross into a burning pit of an afterlife, a dark void or the worst possibility, the hellscapes of Djinni domains.

Shapes of a Soul

With my divine gaze I hath witnesses many souls before the altar of Wroth inside my temple.
Their exact and detailed properties are unknowable and I have yet to devise a method to achieve such pristine inspection. However, I am able to witness to some degree the form and colour of one's soul.

I've seen some fleeting shadows, appearing and disappearing. I've seen rotating balls, with spikes shooting out of it. Some are near transparant. Some take on different forms constantly. Some are rigid cubes. I do not think that these shapes are determined by one's course through life nor their personality or any such factor. Instead, these souls determine all else, it's the origin of one.

It's been difficult if nigh impossible to conduct interpretation. It will require a thousand years of thought and comparisons, perhaps religious scholars and priests together at the Synod could spend time on the subject. But I believe they will have great difficulty seeing anything at all. It is the piercing gaze of Urazzir that allows me to see the truth past any veil.

Colours of a Soul

What is much clearer to myself is the colouring of the soul. With one's sins past and present, a soul is either bright or dark. I have seen men and women of onyx, of obsidian, of charcoal and of shadow. These are beyond doubt great sinners who art judged to toil years, tens of years or hundreds of years. To become bright once more. And it is only the bright souled whom traverse into the Heavens of our Wheel.

And what is shocking though predictable in some measure is the lack of bright souls in Ephia's Well, it brings me to a conclusion that all mortals are flawed and doomed to a grey or worse colouring. And it is by endlessly toiling that Urazzir will eventually allow souls to pass.

Toiling of a Soul

Traditionally the soul is imbued in a single vessel, like an Elf or Human, and toils through life to eventually leave it's vessel to go on into the afterlife or some in-between realm where it works to colour it's soul bright enough to enter the Heavens. Most are grey and sufficiently bright to pass onto the next. But some are a hellred bend on revenge or a shadowy abyss cursed to roam a plane of suffering. It is in these other forms, that of a wraith, a spectre, unlife, mummies, zombies and worse that a soul may become trapped to toil. And even worse, under the control of sinful and dark necromancers, these souls colour even darker and become entrapped longer in this in-between realm. While under the control of ordained priests of Wroth or the Twindari, may such a soul toil to brighten, even in a vessel of unlife. In especially rare cases, a soul might inhabit the body of another. There is a rumour of a Nadiri whom was slain by the hands of a murderous villain, and became resurrected by the soul of *another* Nadiri. These claims warrant research, but it's been spoken of by many mouths and thus the legend may bare enough truth for me to mention it here.

This tome will find additions as my research and findings progress.

Esteemed Hakem of the Synod Korinthus Dûngir,

The story of Besimet Boon is known publicly and is widespread, the people call out for Vengeance, for Wroth and for the perpetrators to be punished.

The perpetrators of this crime are Kulamet, one of the coldblooded murderers even a Priestess of Kula.

At the Synod it was voted and decided that Kula would be placed on the Stele. Thankfully, by coincidence, the Legate had decided not to go forth with this decision.

When I conversed with thee, thee were in agreement that it was a crime that was committed that day.

Even though these Kulamet do not represent all of the faith as thee will argue, it would be a perceived a reward and acceptance of their actions should Kula make it to the Stele now.

Thus I beg of thee, make a wise and sound judgement in this case. Let us revert the decision and re-convene or simply revert to the 2nd most voted option.

Or if thee wish to place a strong message to the murderers and to the populace that cry out for justice... Place Wroth upon the Stele. It would be right.

I am looking forward to seeing thy answer.

With kind regards,

Yaawar Al-Khalhid
