Portrait Problems

I ran into a few problems with NWN on this machine. My portraits are fine the first time I DL them, but every other time I open NWN all additional portraits (Not the standard or unlockable NPCs) have horizontal purple stripes, with that section of the image reversed within them. I'll include a screenshot next post so you can see what I mean. I appreciate any helpful ideas!
