Off-topic Discussion / Re: EFU:CoR Leaving/Returning Posts

I'm taking a break from EfU.  Not sure how long, but  will be until I think of what I want to do with the T-Man next or think of something new I want to play.

I was a big fan of Selise and her journal.  Sad to see her go.  She actually had Taharqa tempted to don the orange livery alongside her.  Thank you for the RP and the questing.  Breadbloods with just the two of us was my favourite memory of her.  RIP.

I'd waited a long time to be your faction pal, Spiffy, and had a great time.  Wish it could have lasted longer.  'Boss Manus' was a father figure in Taharqa's eyes.  Manus was great fun to quest and RP with, and gave me a lot of lol moments.

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Re: Eryeth Cotte

Gah!  Eryeth the Undying One cannot possibly be dead!  :'(

She was a wonderful character, believable and endearing, and the best manipulator I've ever seen.

Taharqa Kush, my lumbering fighter, found tiny young Eryeth utterly terrifying.  He was not afraid to stand up to Nicodemus but he never dared defy Eryeth!  But he still cared about her, and sadly now she will not be able to bring him back to the Nephezar fold.

RIP.  A very well earned rest.   Now at last Loops, you can unleash a torrent of your unused concepts upon us!  Thank you for the good times.

Alas poor Ciriaco  :( .    Taharqa only got to work with him for a week or two in Nephezar before events took the T-man elsewhere.  Had some good times though.  Eg when you snatched that dispensary win for us, and the couple of times I thought Ciriaco was about to murder Taharqa  ;D.

Ciriaco was a cool no BS character- you always knew where you stood with him- and a scary inquisitor.  RIP.

Farewell Brooke.  You were always kind to hapless ol' Taharqa, even after he made a hash of things in Nephezar.

One of the few PCs that Taharqa could (literally) look up to.  Will miss you Saul.

You died still owing T some XP from our menagerie fiasco!  DAMN YOU   ;D

Taharqa Kush was a foul-tempered and  Lawful Evil backstomper when he first met Valindra in Nephezar.  He was being ostracised by the paladins who had recently joined, and regularly excluded from parties.  Valindra was one of the few people willing to spend time with him, so he escorted her as she did her errands, and even though she was a 'pet' he took orders from her like any thaumaturge.  He thought she was the purest being he'd ever seen, and found her self-doubt utterly perplexing.

I made an app to shift T's alignment away from evil and the RPing with Valindra was something I cited to support it.  So from Taharqa's perspective, Valindra saved his soul and he saw her as a literal angel from there on.  This was only reinforced when she had wings for a time.  Her final exile from Nephezar was a major factor in Taharqa losing his faith in the house.  One of the happiest moments of T's life was the first time Valindra called him her friend (and jeez, that took a LOT of work lol).

I'm sad to see this compelling and fascinating character's time end.  Congrats MAGIC on RPing her so well.  She was socially awkward, yet likable and inspiring.  Fly free, angel.

Catherine was wonderful, and I miss seeing her IG :( .

Thank you for all the great RPing you did with Taharqa.  They were a great team and made each other better.

Wait?  Laura was a villain?!  That dear little halfling who got Taharqa back on his feet after Nicodemus Nephezar FIREBALLED him??? XD

Like others I missed seeing your plotting and scheming but always appreciated buying and selling at Bucklebeak through Laura or Mrs Booker.  RIP

Vale Alexandra.  Only got to see her sporadically, but she was always a welcome sight.  Taharqa got to quest with her on occasion, and she gave Taharqa one of his favourite scars with a massive crit she landed on him sparring.

The gigantic mace was especially cool.  And I loved that you ran with the amnesia thing and made it work.

Glint may have fallen, but the Castling name will be carried on.  Vale, brother!

RIP Sylyn.  Taharqa only met you a few times, but you left an impression.  Even though the first time he saw you he assumed you were about to kill him  ;D

BUT... Sylyn legitimately saved his life in the Commons not long afterwards.  Didn't have to, but chose to.   8) They also got to compare greatswords.

Taharqa will miss Burmala dearly.  And probably lose his mind now  ;D
