Perhaps the magic is now unstable now that Mystryl is the goddess of magic and they have not found a reliable/stable way to do the arrest wand thing.

Maybe you should try to pursue this IG.

Find the reason why they don't exist anymore.

Great tips Captain Lars, I think I will chime in here with a few simple tips that I believe are good to know about the current state of the 'game' that is EFU.

#1) You can enchant custom fullplate, thereby making it incredibly good- though the price tag goes up substantially I believe it is worth every copper. How good? FOIG. When I wear fullplate, I almost always wear custom enchanted plate.

#2) Rushing to high levels really sucks if your playing solo (Without friends)

The server is very rough and unforgiving and increasingly so the higher level you get, unless your getting a free ride. Enjoy the level 4,5,6 quests while they last and don't be in a hurry to try to get level 8.

#3) Find yourself some IG IC friends

Everyone likes playing with friends, its more fun and you generally know they won't try to rob you or cheat you and generally care more for your well being than others. Use your early levels to make friends with other low level players and go tackle stuff together, whether that be quests or the bar.

#4) Learn where/how to FIND supplies

Though supplies on quests may be scarce, there are actual quests that are decent to get supplies on honestly you need to find them and do them every day if your low on supply. I almost never buy barkskin or blur, strength, endurance, grace just because it's not amazingly hard to get them otherwise.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

While teaching people about positioning and resource rationing is great, people like me also get in trouble for telling people how to do it 'how we think it is correct' so getting into that is pointless.

And remember friends, don't skim loot.

Can we please have tabard's yet in custom armor creation stations please? It just makes the dated graphics so much easier on the eyes.

Come on.

I agree that lower should be a full pvp zone, with the npcs having moved into the canal ward I feel that its choking the life out of Lower Sanctuary as far as fun conflict goes. I would be all for full pvp in the streets of lower, including FD because whats the risk if you cant die?

Yes, this should be implemented solely so that rangers with FE Racial Group can dual wield severed limbs as their flesh trophies.

In my experience, the biggest deterrent that keeps people from brewing potions is that it takes a feat to brew potions. Being a potion brewer is almost a concept as a supply crafter/merchant and has less to do with experience.

I am entirely for there to be no experience taken when potions are brewed but I don't think that will solve your issue, which is a conceptual one and the whims of others rather than a mechanical issue.

Raising the cost of brewing potions would probably hurt the remaining playerbase's interest in doing fun things, as supplies would become even more scarce than they already are.

I do not agree.

As someone who has played many villainous PC's here on EFU I can say a good part of the excitement comes from knowing that if you lose once your dead. Being a villain takes a lot of dedication and planning and you should expect 0 coddling, they are also very fun but definitely something you should plan with your friends. 5v20 is much more fun than 1v20.

That goes double for monstrous PC's, because they are 'monsters' - I find it strange that a large amount of players are over all 'accepting' of monstrous PC's and don't even seem taken aback by their monstrous forms. Even half orcs are generally despised by most humans.

OOC courtesy is something villain's and monster's show their victim's and does not in any way have to go the other way.

Don't want to die? Beg for your life, its a good tactic and I have never seen someone not give some one who was begging a way out.

I don't think this can be fixed, as a boss has nothing to do with getting your loot stolen by a guy who logged out. But I am sure anyone caught doing this will be retired or worse.

The only thing I dislike about raise dead is that it easily invalidates player vs player hostage situations 90% of the time. Such as when the zerg ignores the hostage in lieu of reviving them later in order to secure the 'glory of the villain kill'.
