For much of today I've been annoyed with how slow my Firefox has been starting up (30+ seconds), especially when compared to Google Chrome which starts near instantaneously. Yet I didn't want to give up my add-ons (Adblock Plus!), nor did I care for Google Chrome's data collecting. I just found a little known solution.

Firefox Preloader!

Browsers such as IE and Mozilla are "preloaded" onto your systems, meaning that they're partially on when you're not using them. The idea is applied to Firefox. When I compared the amount of data being used by this to see how much it hogs, it came out to be 3,204K used. Task Manager hogs more memory than this!

Therefore, great solution, little cost. On my laptop, Firefox now loads FASTER than Chrome.
