The only thing I think might be a point of contention is that the increased Caster Level for multiclass builds would offset one of their disadvantages which is that their spells don't last as long and are easier to dispel.

Maybe for EFU it could just be up to +2 CL instead of +4, given the relatively lower level range of the server compared to regular D&D.

As for the actual suggestion, I think it would be a fine change. Though I wonder if it wouldn't be more favorable to give it as part of a few perks instead of a free-for-all handout.

Rogue minor perk for weapon finesse, for example.
Self Taught, Vagabond, Duelist for fighters

Script potions will not work on companions, no matter what the companion is. IT will always fire on the player who activated it.

Inflict wounds potions that are *not* scripts should work though.

The idea of nerfing something before buffing something in this context is absolutely ludicrous. That being said sorcerers getting an extra known spell per spell level *is* a huge power increase. To at any point consider the idea of giving it to them simply to make sure someone can choose their 'flavor' spell without worrying about whether or not they're going to have fun or feel useful is entirely irrelevant to what makes something mechanically balanced.

I feel like perhaps it would be a better change to simply to do let them learn spells faster; without necessarily being able to cast them sooner.

For instance.

At 5th level, you can learn a 3rd level spell but your spell slots for 3rd are 0. (allowing bonus slots to be used)
At 6th level you still only know 1 3rd level spell, but have 3 3rd level slots
At 7th level you you know 2 3rd level spells, and can learn a 4th level spell with 0 4th level spell slots.
At 8th level you still only know one 4th level spell but have 3 spell slots.

This happened with Jarke Shelly.

I successfully persuaded him to return the blade, but I clicked on him at the success screen and restarted the conversation. Now he refuses to hand over the blade saying he already has (He hasn't.)

Offering an item to purchase from bonecollectors that provides animate /day on it  OUB spellcasters would be a fine if IMO unnecessary change.

BUT I absolutely do not agree that anyone should be able to purchase the sorcerer perks for animation.


Something like that should be a reward for exceptional necromancer PCs, if ever at all given to non-sorcerers.

Edit: I also do not think it would be a good idea to implement a favor system for bone collectors, as getting bodies is unreliable at best and  seemingly impossible at worst.

You can still see what group or faction a player has access to in discord by checking their profile and seeing their user-roles on discord. If there was a way to hide that too (I'm not sure there is) It has my support.
