From my time on the server and other servers I have noticed how fun it is to see Art from players.
Art can be a photo(artistic), portrait, sketch, painting or even a fun comic/manga. If you have something that you made, even if it is not that good, still post it. Your bound to get some comments on it.
It is time to start working those artistic fingers and tools!

This is one I started but never really finished 'cause I realized I'd never get approved for a ridiculous winged kobold. Would've eventually put in some real foliage n the foreground instead of those green squiggles, and fixed up the lighting so the arm musculature looked right.
Supposed to be in the woods at the edge of the bogs.
Oh, and this was on the old forums, but since this was the first piece of Photoshop art I ever did, thought I'd move it to the new ones. It was a portrait for Kirix, and that's not a cigar in his mouth, he's holding a torch (and I know kobolds see in the dark and are light sensitive anyway, but considering his goal, I think it makes sense).

It's a combination of Bailey being just a little on the short side, the fact that she's not exactly standing up straight, and Xeral wearing a big-ass helmet that's got a bit of a peak to it.
Bailey is cold in that picture. Also Xeral is short you can just tell.

My brother is doing a series of speed paintings to promote digital art for his school (nobody knows what it is). He's very much into concept art (among other things) and I soooooo hope he lands an awesome job when he graduates in a year.
Yeah, digital art is like an infectious disease you need to raise awareness for, except the colourful designs show up on a computer and not your ****.

I do plan on eventually starting something similar to what i have experimented with, someplace else, but here i will not do it as rushed as i had over there..when i finally get set up (i will only put up drawings that i consider decent, such as the ones put up here, not perfect but i am sure no one will complain too much)
which is dependent on me acclimating well here, so far i feel i have blended in quite well, i have learned the layout of the area, and the nuances of the various types of people, the only road block now is time....time for me to become better known provided my play here improves to the point where i can achieve what i am hoping, for my current character and with regards my next character, the art in a personal journal which will be shown in game will be represented here in a place where all will be able to see ooc, but many will be seeing them ic, so anything i eventually do may become ic as well
but that is something that will be tied to my next character, and that will be a couple months off, maybe longer, depending upon my skill as a writer for the ever daunting application process (i am being quite unabashed here, any dm observing these drawings can consider this a partial resume for my several month pending next application)

Since I've been gone from EFU and haven't been able to shamelessly harass EFU with my characters and self promotion of factions, here's some RL self promotion of why I've been gone most of Fall 2015 through almost all of 2016 from EFU.
Got three more classes in the work between now and thanksgiving so I may post the occasional behind the scenes thing or some concluded projects.
The room below was my homework tonight actually! The female model was a 9 week from scratch project for a Summer 2016 3D Character modeling class. We built our characters out from one four sided square to upwards of 45,000 polygons with head to toe anatomic reference. Fully rigged for animation and movement.

Wrapping up finals so SOME MO ART
For my organic modeling class our final was to create a fully rendered anatomic human form. I chose "Cigar chomping toy army man".

Emphasis was on differentiating the sculpting of the flesh and fabric while keeping true to the motif of plastic and keeping the face sculpting reductive since they are created in plastic molds.
