Angramon was designed as a man of strong conviction, conviction that the ways of the Lord and Lady were just, that the law of the Bannerhouse was just, and that fighting evil was just. To Angramon, chaos and disorder, disdain for the "True Faith", was evil. His faith was tested every day, but in the end . . . he lived his faith by dying in the battle against Oscar the dragon.


He had what he believed were visions from the Lord and the Lady, one such vision leading him to House Nephezar after Nephezarim soldiers rescued him during the Battle of the Steadings. His visions were, to him, the guidance of order. He even tried to become the Bishop of the Promise, but he never lived long enough to actually become investured.
