I did this quest for the first time today. It is hard.

Comparatively, Bloodtail Kobolds is a 4-9 quest, and rewards very well, and is relatively easy (in comparison).

Maybe adjust the max levels a bit?

When turning in supplies, I think the stronghold should check if you have these two efuss skills, and offer a % bonus to the items you put in the box.

For example, if I have 10 Masonry, I should get 10% extra rewards.

If I have carpentry, the same.

If I have both, 20% bonus.

Thoughts?

They infinitely respawn upon death, in the same spot, as they are a resource for certain things, I don't think this is intended.

I recently took the Sunpurse Manor in the ponds and I have noticed that the decay timer on this stronghold is oddly very high.

We're talking I login for (roughly) 2 hours, at the start of the session, I might have 498 points, and when I check again to drop more resources off, I down to 450.

That is 1 point for every 2 minutes roughly spent in game. I don't know if points decay even if I am logged out- if they do, then the time is much longer.

I feel like this is a bit much, while I know that these strongholds were meant to have the benefit of a faction, I feel that maintaining and building your stronghold is already a very expensive and unprofitable proposition for tenuous benefits and uncertain benefits beyond a place to call your own- especially the one in the manor, where you have no benefits beyond a locked door, free resting, and an obelisk that provides randomized buffs each reset.

I propose that the decay on the stronghold is removed until at least tier 2 where benefits presumably are much more obvious and tenable.

Suggestions / Earth Theme Circle 5 summon

Circle 5 of the theme is a Greater stone Lizard. It is weaker than the 4th circle theme, the Stone Oxen thing.

The Stone Ox has:

1. Mind immunity
2. Immunity to paralysis
3. Immunity to critical hit/sneak attack.

The circle 5 summon, the Greater Stone Lizard
1. Has slightly more damage/AB/HP
2. None of the above immunities.

I recommend the circle 5 summon be changed to a Greater Stone Ox which could simply be the same as a circle 4 ox, but with Damage reduction?

This is a mixture of a suggestion and bug report post I suppose.

1. Circle 1 of the Earth Theme (Rock Guardian) has 13 open lock ranks. It's a floating rock, and shouldn't have this skill I believe.

When taking this quest, you receive a journal entry regarding 'error 10' if I recall correctly.

This, however, has no baring on whether or not you can complete the quest, as it still grants end xp.

I cast glyph of warding and nothing happened.

Area: EQA - The Grand Fissure - Overrun Goblin Camp
PC: Manus Opalstone
Details: Earth/Rune Domains. I cast the spell at one of those worms on the quest. It should've done 1d6*9 damage. Nothing happened? Unless I need to cast it on the ground first?

I believe the Necromancer Plans should be marked as a quest object and removed on resets.

In 95, the Lizardfolk quest is max 8. Considering the Kobold Quest is max 9, I believe the former can be max 10 safely.

Okay, first off- Amazingly detailed and lovingly made. This quest is definitely one of the best on EFU:COR aesthetics wise and I definitely want to run it again with fervor!

However, there are a few issues to prevent this.


  • The Quest is dispel hell. You are dispelled 3-5 times an encounter. Each person is, even the backline somehow. This is not fun. This is obnoxious. This is frankly frustrating.
  • The shamans seemingly have INFINITE fireballs and dispels. This is not fun. This is deadly, unbalanced, and quite frankly scream worthy. The Fireballs are rolling 30-50 dmg a hit. You NEED protection from fire potions to survive if you're a frontline. Otherwise prepare to load the fugue.

I would recommend:

- Reduce the Number of Shamans to 1-2 per MAP SECTION not ENCOUNTER. Or address the seemingly infinite number of fireballs/dispels these people have.
OR
- Provide more 'Cover' for people to run the gauntlet so we aren't exposed to a literal barrage of high level fireballs that can one-shot wizards at level 10.

I am aware this is meant to be an insanely difficult quest, however- difficulty must be paired with fun and I do not think the quest qualifies in that regard. I did it once with a full party of 7-9 level pcs (maybe that is why our spawns were insane?) and I frankly really have no intention of doing it again. The loot was great, the pay was awesome, it just felt like I went in and I put my entire body in front of a barrage of infinite fireballs.

When I summon the creature with Summon Monster 3 Spell, I get an invisible, modeless Earth Elemental. I imagine this is due to a bad 2da number.

The Mudman quest still has the red crystals of Mystryl. I believe this is unintended.
