Between all the perks / pure bonuses that already counter multiclasses, it feels really outdated and more of a DND thing than EFU thing.

With the War "over" and such, the massive orc spawn here is a bit rough on the lowbie quests in the area. Could maybe be removed :)

I had a blast with every faction and countless people along the way. The short truth is that she was a survivor from ring 99 that followed in the wake of the Grandmaster's approach on Ephia's Well. She was power hungry but also legitimately wanted to help the masses of refugees, even if it was secretly so they might worship her as the next queen / visage of the Mother. Alas, the long game was ended by a quick gamble, as things often go!

Beloved people of Ephia's Well,

The darkness has lifted, not by the wretched light of the betrayer sun, but by the iron of our very will. We, as your Legates, acted in solemn truth, seeing the rot of Kha'esh seeking to consume Arlsan and all we hold dear. Yet, even as we moved to cleanse this sickness, some bartered faith for coin or false promise....like little vermin spies.  Know this, people of Ephia's Well, these foes, these blasphemers, were not merely misguided. No, they were abominations, traitors to order, parasites who sought to feast upon our labor and devotion.

Names that should be spoken only with curses: Argent Argyris, Gedwyr Karstcleft, and the craven Oswick the Lame, who scuttled in darkness, whispering treason like a serpent in the ears of the wicked. They sheltered such filth, and condemned themselves.

They bowed before the will of a High Programmer of Qa'im!

A false master, a deceiver, guiding them to twist the pure into the profane. With mechanical precision, they sought to chain Arlsan's people, to grind their spirits into dust beneath unholy designs. Tyranny's hand is one we sever with steel.

They tortured the civilians and Tutors of Arlsan alike!

Toiling under the lash, the faithful were forced to labor, stripped of dignity, robbed of freedom. They sought to desecrate the mines, to drain them bare, enriching themselves with stolen wealth. This was their justice, a law written in chains. We shattered their bonds. We cast them down.

They turned their bodies to filth in the name of the wretched Pra'raj! Blasphemy! Blasphemy!

Let none forget what was seen. Hundreds bore witness to their debasement, their perversions made open in the scald, spurning the Mother's waters. They forsook her embrace, spat upon her mercy, and proclaimed themselves beyond redemption. But there is no escape from judgment.

They sought to take Bet Nappahi from us!

Not content with Arlsan, they slithered forward, intending to rip from our grasp what we bled to claim. Cowards, thieves, jackals scouring the wake of herons. They believed us weakened, distracted in our triumph. But they did not know us. They did not know our fire.

But now they know. They know the wrath of the faithful. They know the fury of those who do not yield, who do not kneel.

Below is a rough draft of my proposed laws. Please review them for mistakes and let me know what I have missed.


Lesser offenses - These lesser crimes will hold a 500 dinari fine or equivalent in wares.  There is a chance for the criminal to make amends by volunteered labor to the victim or their respective banner. amends by volunteered labor, if accepted. May be subjected to public jailing and humiliation for up to thirty minutes.

Unlicensed activity: Alchemy, Archaeology, Divination
Pickpocketing, purse cutting, unarmed assault, trespassing, vandalism
Public Narcotics usage - Scorch, Slice, Marvel
Wielding a weapon without authority from a sitting Legate
Public annoyence with pets, familiars, companions, or other terms for magical and animal servants.

Serious charges - These charges will hold a 1500 dinari fine or equivalent in wares. There is a chance for the criminal to make amends by volunteered labor to the victim or their respective banner, if accepted. May be subjected to public jailing and humiliation for up to an hour. Trials may take place should the accused proclaim their innocense on the matter.

Armed or Magical assault

Holding, smuggling and trading of artifacts empowered with or by Djinn, Wyrmists, Qa'im, or Necromancers.
A lesser offense committed against a Legate or Officer of the accorded factions.

Theft or vandalism  in the amount greater than 500 dinari or equivalent in value of items.

Capital Charges - Mandatory trial - Punishments may be up to and including exile, death within the bloodsands, execution. Voices may be stripped.  There is chance for the criminal to make amends by volunteered labor to the victim or their respective banner, if accepted.

Brooking, Animating the dead, utilizing relics of Qa'im or the Wyrm cult. Partaking in rituals of the aforementioned partie.

Treason - Working with the proclaimed enemies of Ephia's Well, including spying, trading information, exposing tactics or military movements, or other things that benefit our enemies of war and state while harming our beloved home.

Serious crimes against a Legate may be elevated to Capital

Usage of Dretch

Lesser and serious offenses, such as theft of vandalism, that result in damages greater than 10,000 dinari.

Slavery or forced conscription

Circumstantial affairs

Repeating offenses - The third offense in the rolling period of a month will see the charges elevated from their respective and proclaimed punishments at the desire of the charging party and the sitting Legate or Magistrate.

Right of judgment - The sitting Legate or Magistrate reserves the right to alternative aligned punishments for unique situations, should they arise. They will be accepted by the charging party and the Magistrate or Legate in place of fines that cannot be paid or punishments that cannot be fulfilled.

Criminal behavior is handled by the Janissary of the fourth legion within the claimed territory of Ephia's Well. The Astronomer's of Q'tolip and Cinquefoil Rose are authorized to oversee the handling of lesser and serious crimes committed within their respective territories of the accord, not to spill out beyond said territories.

SF Abjuration - Increase the TOTAL stripped spells by 1, if checks succeed, and stolen spells by 1 (two total).

GSF abjuration - Increase the TOTAL stripped spells by 1, if checks succeed, and stolen spells by 2(three total)


Dispel magic - The caster attempts to strip, and possibly steal magic from the target(s). This spell can strip a maximum of 1 spell / 2 caster levels. The caster steals the first TWO  stripped spells.

SF Abjuration - Increase the TOTAL stripped spells by 1, if checks succeed, and stolen spells by 1 (three total).

GSF abjuration - Increase the TOTAL stripped spells by 1, if checks succeed, and stolen spells by 2(four total)

Duration: Magic is stripped(or stolen, doesn't matter) for a total of 1 round / 2 caster levels. This is increased by 1 round / 2 CL for GSF abjuration. Upon expiration, the spells return to the target at their INNATE caster level.


Upon being dispelled, targets are immune to the effects of dispel magic for 5 rounds.


SECONDLY - Remove arcane leech and just make it part of the changes for abjuration to be more cool but also less CRUSHINGLY RANDOM

I'm looking for some players that might be interested in playing some White League fanatics to bring more life to the "refugee crisis" that is happening outside of Ephia's Well / within the Drifter's Stockade!


The generic idea: Arriving with the mass of refugees sometime recently, your character would have endured the loss of effectively everything and but finally found refuge within the Drifter's Stockade, some shelter from the wasteland at least. Within you are cramped into tightly packed bunks, if you're lucky enough to find one, and forced to live a rather poor lifestyle. Sickness spreads quickly, people fight over food and resting places, small groups begin to form and claim this area or that of the Stockade, and all along the wealthy and affluent and influential members of Ephia's Well mostly ignore your struggles. People grow restless and begin to get angry, something must be done....

Can we peel off that last piece of the bandaid that has mostly been ripped from the AULD days and just allow this to happen please?

Throwing weapons have it and it hasn't caused a problem in ages, even with the weight reduction to NOTHING for most of them.

One less Modini criminal in the Well. Thanks for all of the ups and downs while playing this bitter and resentful PC. She very much hated the Sultan, the Janissary, and always worked to make their lives worse off while trying to empower the floating city.

There are Janissary and blue npcs in a lot of exterior areas around the Well and it makes PVP very weird since they are commonly traveled places but are mostly just being ignored anyway.

There is only one champion of this Well and it is not some worthless harlot named Asherias Myl made in the false bloodsands of our Well. I picked up the banner when it fell. I marched through orcs and artillery alike. I secured the entire flank so that the gates could be taken, and I marched to those very gates afterward to see that we didn't falter behind Aurelio. If you want a show in Kha'esh, then I'll fight this "champion" myself and we'll put on a proper bout and spill some blood for the right audience.

Once they drain their captured Orcs or otherwise, this girl and I will resolve the matter in a seventh bout, a bonus for our allies to witness.

Healing House Contract

1. The Banda Rossa will commit a starting fund of 2,000 dinari to 'The House of Healing' operated by
Fiordelise Foscari.

2. Members of the Banda Rossa shall have access to this facility at all times by key and lock in order to receive healing and support from their efforts abroad in the many skirmishes and wars of this ashen wasteland.

3. The dinari and wares of the deceased within the 'House of Healing', operated by Fiordelise Foscari, will go to the Banda Rossa who in turn shall re-allocate up to fifty percent of the amount back into the 'House of Healing', operated by Fiordelise Foscari who may in turn invest these funds towards her business.

4. A Recluta of the Banda Rossa will assist in guarding this property owned by Fiordelise Foscari at all hours of the day.

5. Fiordelise Foscari will assume a full time protecting contract by means of the Recluta of the Banda Rossa while this business contract remains in effect. She and her approved aids and employees will be protected from outside threats by the Recluta of the Banda Rossa, as they are able to provide.

As you had requested I am delivering to you this report alongside the previously delivered evidence. Morganna Skatterhawk was once a member of our Banderossi and had abandoned her oaths, fleeing to the wastes with stolen reports and otherwise from our fortress.

I approached her on this matter outside of the Rose Gate and she became hostile and dismissive. I reminded her that would we need the stolen trinkets back and it turned into a little battle of sorts. She ran here and there before conjuring a great and wicked demon of eyes and tentacles that I dare say could have threatened hundreds of refugees if we had not been able to dispose of it.

She then fled further into the wastes and we eventually brought her low after she conjured other things of the Djinn. It became hectic at this point, all quite a blur really, and we had to flee the scene from the eruptions of Djinn magics, luckily not before removing her head so that she could not bring harm upon Ephia's Well.

Upon returning to the Well, the first thing I could do was seek you and the Apothar Zol Nur out so that we might rid ourselves of the wicked trinkets that she carried. You'll recall that she often called herself the "spiked bitch" and wore that helmet. I believe most of the Well could speak to that as well.

Should you require more from the Banda Rossa, please do inform us at once.

While the urgency to press for conscription is clear, there are some matters to clarify beyond our chaotic assembly. My proposal, above all else, was for the refugee that comes forth to the well seeking solace and haven in these times of warfare. Still, somehow you allowed the weeping astronomer to take their vices out on the voiced they so despise and added that part in.

Secondly, I insist it is still a mistake to force these conscripts into the accord rather than into a separate and fully identifiable branch of the Well itself. With that said, I shall put to writing what I believe should be put to law as we move forward:

"- Any refugee entering the Well shall be subject, if able, to be conscripted into the Militia of the Heron within three days of arrival, should they not already be taken into the ranks of the Nadiri, Scarab, Recluta, Acolyte, or Students of the Balladeers.

- From within this Militia of the Heron, the Warmaster or Commander may extract leading conscripts into their relative banners as required and needed, at any time.

- The Voiced of the Well, excluding the Baz'eel natives, Legates, prelates, and specified individuals by mutual agreement of the Legates shall join this Militia of the Heron as "Strategos", or whatever term you so desire in this rat nest.

- Alongside the roles of Commander, and Warmaster, we shall assign a Capo to oversee this flock of birds and send them pecking in the right direction. This overseer shall be given right to Conscript alongside the Warmaster and Commander, and right to proclaim betrayers and refusers to this wartime law.

Any conscript who refuses appropriate orders, flees duty, or conspires against the Well in any form shall be subject to death without trial"


I of course, volunteer myself to oversee this affair. I will need a few hundred pretty cloaks, perhaps even with a heron on the back. Let us clean up this mess we swiftly made at assembly and organize it properly!

Not sure if it's possible, but a lot of the time when NPCs are involved it just gets defaulted to "murder" or otherwise if they go down. It would be nice if whatever mode you were on applied to them too I think.
