Ive decided from now on all my stupid questions will be asked here, instead of on discord. That way I dont end up pinging DMs who have notifications turned on for #ask-efu-dms.

I dont have a question right now, but later I probably will?

This is an amazing idea, no more using outside utilities (my PCs clock) to keep track of that stuff.

Im not even asking for them to stack, just make them the same weight as every other potion.

This a completely selfish request as I just want my inventory to weigh less.

Currently none of the npcs there sell paper for writing messages, only for scribing scrolls. Even the ponds merchants have paper for sale. Perhaps one of the npcs in the Bone Collectors can sell it, or put a scribe down there?

Actually yeah, all generalist might need is a few OUB Generalist items scattered around the world that they can find.

Infact, the opposite is currently true with OUB by specialist items that aren't too difficult to obtain.

Suggestions / Generalist Wizards

As I sit here thinking about my next wizard PC, one thought keeps reoccuring to me. I like the idea of generalist, but why am I not just making an illusionist since I dont plan on taking any enchantment spell focus feats?

The only thing stopping me from playing illusion specialist as a "generalist with more spells per day" is, for lack of a better word, the cheeesy feeling of it. It feels like bad roleplaying to specialize in illusion but then go GSF Divination GSF Necromancy for example.

Perhaps its just the nature of enchantment spells that encourage an all or nothing approach, but I feel like I am punishing myself for not going illusionist when I aim for a generalist playstyle.

Perhaps either the enchantment school could use some staple spells that dont require saving throws (ive no clue what that would look like unfortunately), or selecting generalist could give a small boost, maybe even something simple like a bonus feat or extra skill points?

Currently missing, my ninth level and an empower spell feat due to a fugue the same day he died.

Loot:

Tel Talic, on the day he died, was a level 9 generalist wizard (he went down once in a non perma-death part from 39k xp, losing empower spell feat)

He was 3 days shy of being 6 months old, but was a bit of a slow PC in terms of plot, as I spent alot of time crafting things. Some of the things he did:

Secretly aided The Champion of The Nothing, Isabela Galdera, during The Banner Tournament in exchange for promises of knowledge
Was dubbed The Green Wizard by Mattermead Gold in the early days of The Prismatic Council, on account of the slimy green robes Tel had pulled out of a charity box after getting mugged by Orzans.
Performed the first recording curing of a case of Tchunism, removing the disease from Glitt Retainer Dougal Maclaren (who went and got murdered by Knaves literally 4 hours later)
Secretly recruited a Knave into The Prismatic Council as an anonymous Red Wizard
Joined the march on Tickertown to remove the dragon Tcharmorrar, only to run away and be one of the only survivors. Dubbed "The Strategist" because he dived into the canal to avoid getting splattered by the falling dragon.
Paid a dwarven bounty hunter to murder a paladin that had broken into his burgage room and discovered his Mark of The Lodge. For Tel Talic, "professional" was a euphemism for assassin.
Joined a highly dangerous mission to a Crystal Palace led by the old guild leader of The Planar Prospectors, where on the cusp of victory, dare I say HIS victory, he was struck down by the last thrashings of the final foe.

I had spell focus necromancy, but I never animated any undead.

Tel Talic was my first of what I would consider to be a REAL pc. My previous characters were a goblin rogue, and a dwarven wizard who accomplished nothing (except maybe in the eyes of Pzatharun). With Tel Talic I felt like I was actually building something, though greed and curiosity was ultimately his downfall. Overtime he became a well known name, and I did enjoy the small amount of fame he seemed to have. I'm going to miss playing him, and eventually I will try and make another wizardly wizard, and perhaps see how The Prismatic Council is doing in the future.

I dont agree that mechanical changes are needed to enforce stigma, just look at druids for example. Their spells have no ill effects yet they are universally hated. Wizards already have plenty of optional class features that make people angry, such as polymorph self, animate dead, unravel, and alchemy. If every spell a wizard cast had a chance to cause horrors to appear theyd be more hated than druids.

Full Disclosure: I am biased in favor of wizards

Suggestions / Craft Armor / Weapon wage

Craft Armor and Craft Weapon currently have no use AFAIK, but what if taking the skill gave your character a small wage boost? Every 5 ranks gets you a 1 gold wager for example. I don't think its too crazy of an idea, considering we have rogue perks that give people a wage.

Bug Reports / Re: Herbalism - crafting script error
September 22, 2020, 04:24:07 AM
I had this bug happen to me too, and noticed that when it happened the recipe didn't "end". If I kept using the table the previous added items would still be there and additional items would continue the existing recipe, causing me to add too many items.

What a wild ride that was, attended a feast and turned into an insane talking pig, attended Harad's arena and won a potion of random magic that turned me into a dwarf tiefling, then ambushed by foul peerage assassins while chatting with a neighbour, before being forced to drink a "cure" that somehow turned me into a pig again before being butchered.
