ACCOUNT CONTRACT

This Contract shall define the Terms of Agreement Between Connor Bootpolisher, Hereafter referred to as the Signatory, and the Office of The Sublime Bank, hereafter referred to as The Bank


Section 1) Obligations
1.a) The signatory shall be provided with an account with The Bank, for the purpose of storing their funds.
      1.b) The bank shall keep a record of the total funds of the signatory held by the bank.
      1.c)  Upon the request of the signatory, provided funds may be withdrawn from the account, up to a limit of the total value of the held Dinars, the bank may choose to charge a fee of 1% of the withdrawn amount, up to a maximum of 500 Dinars.
2.a) The signatory shall be entitled to an initial interest rate of 1%(rounded down), to be deposited at the end of each two week period, this rate will be held for at least 4 subsequent terms, after which the bank may alter the interest rate upwards or downwards, to accommodate market standards.
      2.b) Accrued interest will be added to balance of the account.
      2.c) Interest will be determined over the lowest value that the account held during the two week period, over which interest will be paid.

Section 2) Terms and Conditions

1.a) The signatory recognizes and accepts the bank's sole discretion in further usage and availability of this document.
2.a) The bank will, should the signatory hold a valid notarized will with the bank, make a reasonable effort to fulfill the signatory's notarized will, held by the bank.
      2.b) Should the bank choose to, it may charge a fee of up to 20% of the total value of funds within the account prior to actioning the terms of the will for providing this service.
      2.c) Signatory's of the bank are entitled to a 20% discount for the notarization of their will services, if they choose to use the bank's service of notarization.
3.a) should the bank be unable to, despite reasonable efforts, establish contact with the account holder for extended periods of time, due to among other things, but not limited to: Exile of signatory, death of signatory, disappearance of signatory, and lack possession of a notarized will, then the bank will be entitled to seize remaining funds held in the account.
4.a) The signatory agrees that for all legal matters, funds held in the account of the bank may be used as the bank sees fit, without requiring prior approval of the signatory, the bank may among other things, invest, loan and make claims about the held funds. The signatory further agrees that it is not entitled to any gains or losses incurred by these actions.
5.a) The Bank will, in the event of the Signatory's loss of access to bank funds due to among other things, but not limited to: theft of funds held by the bank, death of representatives of The Bank, exile of representatives of The Bank, and disappearance of representatives of The Bank, reasonable efforts shall be made to see the bank made able to fulful the obligations laid out in section 1, Subsection 1.c within a reasonable timeframe after the request for withdrawl by representatives of The Bank, or individuals appointed for the purpose by The Bank.
      5.b) In the case of theft of banks funds, all legal responsibility for the loss of funds to the signatory shall lay with the individual, individuals, or organization that committed the theft.     
      5.c) The appointed individuals shall not be considered representatives of The Bank and therefore shall not be subject to any legal responsibilities, concequences or charges that may be raised against The Bank for the Action or Inaction of The Bank or the Appointed Individuals regarding the terms of this contract.
      5.d) Once all reasonable efforts have been made by the representatives or appointed individuals or Appointed, they may at their discretion choose to withdraw The Bank from this contract and any remaining obligations therein.

Pretty bad idea for a man in my line of work to keep a journal. Especially with peeping toms like Cosine can always look at it with just a damn spell. Captiana would kill me if I wrote something in here any moron can see with magic. It"d be even dumber if I wrote something in here the legion could use as evidence at a trial to see me fed to lions. However people like Alejandro remind me how scholars look through these things for evidence of the past. So maybe I am doing dumbass scholars in the future a favor by writing down my thoughts.

Before I came to Ephia's Well I came from the city of rings no clue which ring I am even from or have been to. Passed through 99 once or twice it was full of idiots probably my least favorite ring. I have heard 10 different stories on the name "Bootpolisher" Its possibly my father was just really dumb and called himself that. I then ended up using a Halberd because it was the only damn thing available. I got really good at it and joined a few random gangs here and there. Sometimes the gangs would all get killed because none of them were smart enough to drink an invisibility in between rings or they decided to be idiots and jump an insanely large group that outnumbered them and had tons of spells. We mostly looted dweebs and ringrunners we came across. These ash storms happened and everything went to shit. Food became scarce one of my boys tried to eat me so I ended up having to put him down. All of the above was perfectly legal since it never happened in the Sultan's lands.

I came to Ephia's Well and I instantly wanted to join the Banda Rossa. They seemed like the toughest gang around. But they are not thugs they are proper proffesionals.  They were not impressed and ended up stabbing me and almost killing me. They told me to come back when I was more fearsome so I went into the creep and began working with a fellow named the Baron I hated that he called us the lodge. We had other dumbasses join us like Skink, Bana some squire. Most of them are dead or fucked off.  I had visions of forming a group of marry men engaged in nothing but perfectly legal activities known as the Gutter Gods to keep the gutters safe and have people pay for valid protection.

Eventually I joined the Banda Rossa to the dumbass scholar reading this I did miss some important details its up to you to quit being a dumbass and figure out what is missing it isn't my job to tell you how to figure things out or give you all the answers or incriminate myself by putting dumb confessions in a journal. So I became a Magistrate cost me 1,500 dinar but I of course used my position to make even more Dinar. I even managed to find a way to get paid to quit my position and insult my boss Qari it was fun. This guy Qari is a whore he will do anything for dinar more than me and he likes to lie a lot.

Ephia's Well does this dumb thing called voting. I just get paid and some dumbass gets a vote. There are these leagues Domhall originally didnt like me or my pals so I ended up beating the shit out of him and quitting the white league sometime later the white league paid for me to rejoin them. I originally liked the white league because I was a poor bastard and wanted a voice for free. I"m convinced the voiceless wont get voices on account of someone rich can probably bribe the Sultan to veto it. The gold league kept being poor and not doing enough. I got sick of being in a league full of fuck ups and losers. I wonder if Purple league will ever pay up for me to join them to? Seems pretty stupid that any idiot can join or leave leagues but its a great way to make money.

Everyone talks about this Sultan. I have never met this guy I got no opinions but people who have never met him seem to have strong opinions on him. What I cannot understand is how its possible these ashfolk wont punch back. Its one of my goals to have a valid legal reason to beat the shit out of an Ashfolk. Yet you can't mess with them Aaisha creeps me the fuck out she can sneak around everywhere and is super sophisticated and important. I"m hoping she is impressed that I killed the dumbass Bana who I got her to hire in the first place.

Due to property being in Ephia's Well and the insane likelihood it is of spilling over a DM should be required to do PVP in property of Ephia's Well seems like a no a brainer to me.

It is a medium Halberd at best perhaps slightly larger than the one uses by soldier Butcher. Dear League of Gold officials


Right now as it stands the active members of the league of gold are a bunch of poor paupers unable to buy votes and unable to make deals. I am a member of the gold league and I will not be voting for the gold league this election because of the inability of the candidates of this league to make good deals or even  have money available. The exit polling paints a grim picture. Even with my direct intervention of getting us a viable candidate. I can safely say my campaign work has made sure we got far more than vote this election compared to last election. I also believe if Marcialo raises Dinar in a month he may be in a stronger position to challenge Marcellus.

However I see a way to save face and gain a key victory for the league. We have Marcialo promise to drop out and support Domhall in exchange for him being appointed as Magistrate and an assurance Domhall will vote to reduce property taxes. Would you prefer that your candidate lose in last place or make a deal to achieve some manner of accomplishment of our goals? The only hope the gold league this election is both candidates being killed and Marcialo is too poor to accomplish such. Or shall we act like that dumbass loser in the Krak De Roses pouring wine and lose the election in the name of honor?

This same man boasts on the street that the legion issued him no charges for doing this. A man notorious for his love of being minotaur. Already he has struck deals with the legion to feed you to the lions should the legion bring him charges. Your Zenithar's warning and complaints of schemes against the astronomers clearly has fallen on deaf ears and sooner or later the legion will bring capital charges with this man as magistrate and if such occurs you will be fed to lions. How much further disrespect and betrayal you lot willing to take from the pyramid?


In addition to his obvious schemes and political moves against you he openly states his intentions to find alternatives to the Shade and conduct expeditions and research of his own. A contract can be done to see to it the Banda Rossa exclusively goes on expeditions with the Astronomers. Fortunately do to his lack of finances he is very unlikely to be able to afford the services of the throater against you however that may change if he gets his dinar.  The man has a single motivation and goal to fuck the Astronomers of Q'tolip over as much as possible. However I have seen an issue with some of your recent students at your college of the Balladeers that startles me. I see them wearing the battered uniforms of Orentid soldiers. Battered by the boots of the Banda Rossa and the original knights of the Cinqouefoil Rose and yourself stomping upon their corpses after putting these Orentid bastards to the sword to take the well. We of the Cinquefoil Rose should be the last people in Ephia's well to wear the uniforms of the late Queen Ibthial's men. We are your troops not the troops of Orentes. While I would normally take this concern to your Balladeers these students have wore these uniforms in the pressence of your Balladeers without any discipline or reprimanding.

It would be extremely unfortunate if one of your men were to be mistaken for an Orentid Soldier with a stolen rose cloak prancing around in proudly in a uniform issued by none other than the late General ar-Parus to any available Orentid man. Men of the Cinquefoil Rose need not wear the uniform of defeated foes so many years after this war.

I understand people hire my character Connor for protection contracts IG. Unfortunately I cannot be online 24\7 due to something called work. However I work in the same industry as the Reeve and am able to have someonee cover for me given enough notice. Anyone who absolutely needs me online who can pay up will have me  get coverage for a shift at work to offer my extensive services IG. 

With the recent development of Bafansi pledging to Qa"im it is time for Ephia's Well to expand. One of the few things both purple and gold agree on.  I say let the Banda Rosa or the Sultan's legion claim the caravan camp and have the rights to add a tax upon the caravans and or adventurers using them. If Bafansi invades such is an excellent place to raid upon landing.Furthermore it is near the Osman Canal and the path to Baz'eel itself. It would mean the forces of the well could respond to an invasion. There is no need to leave this place barren.


Another clear point if they are to invade us Bafansi would land in Qadira. Our relations with Qadira are not the best. Having spoke with their diplomat in the past and having gone there I can say that me having brutalized the legion will be a bonus. Banda Rossa's many victories over the Sultan's legions makes us more ideal than anyone to negotiate with Qadira. Given our companies past experience with sailing we could recruit other pirates and actually form a presence and navy of our own. I can say for certain it is unlikely the ruler of Qadira would allow the legion to form a presence. We need another city state to not fall for the influence of Qa"im if Bafansi has a port to land  they can simply cross over. We must not let Qadira turn in Qa"im's favor If we are to conduct naval warfare against Bafansi the port of Qadira would be ideal. I believe Balestire Rousseau would be an ideal diplomatic envoy with her tact and intelligence and I can be her guard. A presence is needed in Qadira regardless for any possible covert operations in Bafansi.

A sum of 2000 per month with a new contract and possible rate to be negotiated on each new month of contract. The undersigned acknowledges that outside of the Krak De Roses no protection is afforded from the forces of the Legion. 


So as long as the protection agreement holds The Banda Rossa and _______ also enter into a trade agreement where the undersigned will sell surplus goods of our choosing at an agreed rate of 60-40 commision. The trade agreement holds as long as the security contract holds.
