How unrelenting the heat of the Sun, it pains the eyes, burns the flesh, and saps away our water and strength. Mother and I continue forward, each step a war against Death, but Death is patient. Death lingers out of the corners of our vision stalking his prey.
Soon we will shall perish, and where we falls will be our tomb. The ever changing sands shall erase us from this world and we shall cease to be a thought.
My thoughts and Death be damned.
