Hellllll yes. I'm thrilled for this.

That said, since they're fixing mounts, will Paladins be getting mounts again? Or still no-go on that? I am all about that Paladin jousting life.

It doesn't look enhanced at all, though support for all platforms past XP from another provider than GOG is good for business. If the servers get hosted on steamworks, all the better.

If they fix the trident bug, some AOO bugs and the web bug, I will be as happy as a clam. If they go a step beyond and give purpose to the weapons like as they are in tabletop (flail disarm/trip, spear reach, halberd trip, etc), I will be happy as can be.

A) Was there anything dedicated to the Cartographer that existed on Ymph that wasn't relevant to his hobby/profession but rather him as a person (such as abandoned journals, mist visions, virgin lands where he might've rested/visited/finally passed on)?

B) I don't need to know 'how' this chapter ends, but I do want to know; how soon will the setting leave the Underdark?

Pikeman (Fighter)
Pikemen are the most basic infantry in any army, armed with polearms to devastating effect. With the advantage of reach alone, many novice combatants have been trained to inflict great harm in the short timespan of a month. From the Dalelands Farmer with a sharp rock and a stick, to the Archendale Soldier armed with a well forged Glaive, the Pikeman's use in battles across Toril have been tried and true beneath the test of time, and remain well valued to this day.

Level 2: 1D4 additional piercing damage to the wielder's damage when wielding a spear (so that their damage may look like 1D8+str/half+1d4), and a 1D2 additional piercing damage to the wielder's damage when wielding a halberd (so that their damage look like 1D10+str/half+1D2).
Level 6. Bonus Feat: Improved Initiative.
Level 8: +4 discipline.

I'm sure most of the people here know this already, but I thought I'd chime in with a tid-bit.

If you're not sure what the dye will actually look like on your armor (or any fabric or metal surface for that matter, from what I understand NWN colors may look different depending on your shaders) you can go to the Blacksmith NPC (Tagnar for the Uncertainty Chapter), make a stock suit of armor (without the intention of actually buying the armor), then apply the dyes you wanted to use to that armor from Tagnar's selection. If you don't like it, you can keep playing around with the other shades available until you find the one you like, look for the name from the dye vendor and buy it there.

It's not a one stop shop, but it'll save you the hassle of buying multiple dyes to see what you like the most, and you might actually find a shade of your color that you might like better than your originally intended color-scheme.

A side note, you can use EFUSS for secondary points and roll the EFUSS stat instead, I think.

I went through the portal as Jorgah Biack, a Half-Orc fighter. I didn't know anything about D&D, NWN, nor RPing stats or anything.

I ended up in Mistlocke, walked about and thought 'boy, that's pretty'. Then a few Dwarfs showed up, started talking about how he was filth and it was a good ten or so minutes of back and forth of arguing. Then I got pulled away for the Well quest, where it was spiced by Jaydemoon and Talir.

I died 8 times, I had my pack stolen while I was dead and I was running around in bad chainmail with a hatchet. Then I met a few characters from the Wyrm Watchers, the first one being Kojach. He went on to meet the rest of the Watchers and made good acquaintances.

Around day two or three, every character apart of the faction was executed by the Conclave, leaving me to wander about the server aimlessly. I found my way though.

Poolson, normally using other GAs with 'Pool' in the name to keep a vault not crammed with characters.

EFU:M

Jorgah Biack: A clumsy and mentally slow Half-Orc, born in the Dalelands to an escaped slave, and adopted by a cross-race family. He had very little in the way of interest in his life. A little known fact, he was the one who escorted Owain Aberdenn to the Wyrm Watcher's keep. He sacrificed himself to save his group and was sent to the second layer of the nine hells.

Susan Goldwater:
A fat furniture-mancer from Cormyr. Shallow in some aspects but otherwise decent as a person. Joined the Aberdenn, then lived a terrible and miserable life, involving being put to the wheel of disaster in murdertown and being force-fed drugs, being terrorized in Old Stones and hunted by the Conclave.

Eventually cannibalized by an Assassin.

Joseph Oaktower:
A Cleric of Shaundakul hailing from the Sword Coast, exploring the continents of Toril until claimed by the portal magic of the Zigguraut. An Adventurer and the sole opposition against Beshabans and Sharrans of Ymph. His connection with his god was close enough that soon he took on the title of Champion. He died on the battlefield, battling those within the Wyrm Watchers that murdered a Paladin.

EFU:R

William Kingsmouth:
A Half-Orc born in Icewind Dale and rescued by an Adventuring party, William was adopted by a Cleric of Ilmater. Raised with decent education but naturally a little slow due to his race, his father and him moved to a village named 'Shiverpeak stop', a place between the border of Illusk and Neverwinter. Failing to follow every profession he dreamed of in life, he resorted to manual labor.

Eventually became a monster hunter and picked up blacksmithing to save the hunting company costs. He kept this up until the apocalypse came, where he fled into the woods and lived in a cave until a fateful night where he found the portal to Sanctuary whilst foraging for food. Living with scumbags and liquor hounds, long enough that he too became an alcoholic, William eventually tried to dust himself off and make something of his life.

He went on to become Director Abala Quickfeet's bodyguard, only to be sacrificed by foul magic. His soul was bound to a masterwork quality magesilver mask that he had made, in an attempt to seek help for his arm that was lopped off by Gorbengolt. He was freed by Abala Quickfeet and her company.

That Tower Shield was better than the one William got, and he couldn't even use it because he had his arm chopped off.

Tilven was a gentleman. o7
