Messages - Red Moon

I really enjoyed Rod.

First time I interacted with his character was right before Durange's circus, and that seemed all the more fitting considering he had claimed to be of a carnival himself- Boasting to be a stongman.

And true to his character, I had never witnessed Rod the Red shying from a fight or challenge. He seemed to be taking part in any and all challenges that presented, and showing just how willing he was when he mad-man charged through danger. Screaming at the top of his lungs, 'ROD. THE. RED!'

I would have enjoyed to get to know Rod a bit better in a future dealing, but it unexpectedly got cut short. Still, thanks for playing him!

You did a good.

Bug Reports / Re: Flame Weapon - Acid

I think the element selector, in the ooc area, is broken.

That's where the element was selected on my sorcerer, as acid. And the acid isn't actually acid damage, but bludgeoning. And with my new sorcerer, I chose electrical damage, and it's still acid but non-acid on cast of flame weapon. Acid non-acid, meaning it's bludgeoning damage.

Bug Reports / Sorcerer Perk: Snake Charmer
May 24, 2021, 05:30:21 PM
Sneks don't work good.

I've been playing the snake charmer for a while, it would seem that the main course of the perk doesn't like to work. At least not all of the time, and I can't really determine why it works sometimes, and doesn't most of the time.

What happens is:

  • Summon the snakes.
  • They attack things.
  • I can't tell if they're healing because it's so small, and there's no text letting me know they have healed.
  • The only real way I know it's working is if I get the message: Omori Mai has healed 0 damage. Or what have you. 1-4 per first circle summon.
  • It is very rare that they actually heal me. I have rested and reset my perk to try and fix the issue, but alas.

It's all good.

It's hard sometimes to start over on a character, and that sort of seemed the case for him.

Isaiah was a curious sort of character. When I first came into contact with him, he was whispering with patrons at a stall, because Camila was holding a concert in the square. For some reason I just assumed he didn't talk loudly, like maybe he took a shield to the throat and damaged his vocal cords or something. But turns out he was just being respectful.

So my assumption then was he was this nice pastor who offered people a kind word and religious advise- But then he started that boxing ring, talking crazy to get people to join.

You seemed to just defy my expectations at every turn. Well played.

I always felt like Madrick was just on another level, so I think you nailed the fey-esque feel about him.

My interactions were few and far between, but almost always felt sudden and whimsical. Madrick would come and whisper a nugget of poetry, and then disappear. We never really knew if he was with us, or had gone.

Thanks for playing Madrick. :]

[Super late.]

Thoroughly enjoyed our interactions. There wasn't many who Lucretia genuinely was thoughtful and caring over; But Mandy held a special place.

Ailis was awesome, and fun to know and not know at the same time.

Her character was mystery incarnate, which always kept you wondering whether her words were genuine or just another trick to be tempered and honed. I'm sad we were never really in the same orbit; I would have very much enjoyed to know Ailis on another level, and the chance to discover what I could. To puzzle what is, and what isn't.

Still, she was equally fun to observe from afar- Choices made, and so forth.

Our first interaction is still my favorite. Ailis following Domina into a shop, and having that small conversation will always hold a place in my mind. It was a solid introduction, and really set the tone of their relationship going forward.

Good job, well done, and thanks for the splendid character.

Edit: And taking Rubio into the flower club was a dumb idea, but we had a good time all the same. HA!

We had many a conversation, and all of it was pleasant. My favored one, was about Lucretia's belief in Redamancy. What it was, and how it associated with Saibhon's own belief. I wish we could have returned to it at some point, but Saibhon was a busy old man.

Lucretia was the only character I knew him by, but she trusted him with nearly all of her darkest secrets, and her life as well!

Also: Never did get to riddle out that ring. But the ritual stuff was amazing.

Sad to see him retired, but thanks for playing him.
