Suggestions are ways to share your ideas in order to improve the setting. They should be simple, free of hostility/rant and demonstrate some understanding of how EFU:A works. Although everyone loves to share their opinion and seems to believe that every suggestion must be rated in some way by them, this is not the case and just creates ground for opposition and hostility.

 - 1.a Try to keep balance suggestions for monsters or quests to a minimum. Not only those are usually filled with spoilers, there are obviously explanations that we (DMs) sometimes cannot share. If we notice something is grossly out of whack, then we'll fix it.

 - 1.b You can still make balance suggestion for any other aspects of the server (spells, drops, classes, special items, subraces, etc.) but just make sure that you first learn and adapt to the server. Adapt to EfU:A instead of trying to make EfU:A adapt to you. Make sure they are spoiler-free.

 - 2. Commenting on other peoples' suggestions. We never pool in how many people are for or against any one suggestion. If your comments are too negative or too positive, please keep them. If they give constructive feedback to the suggestion, please say them. But keep it friendly!

 - 3. If you need to make complex arguments for a suggestion and go on and on for pages long, it might not be a good suggestion >_>.

Also, Don't be afraid to make suggestions for your "own characters".

Some people think its shameless, and to some extent its understandably so, but there are also times that there are class/race/other issues that need to be addressed.

No one knows this better than the people playing them, so if you notice something acting weird or find some way that you think would be cool to adjust a class (That could effect things other than yours personally, but maybe suggestions for a class as a whole), don't be afraid to post it.

There are a lot of cool ideas that are rumbled about that people pass on because of this notion and that is unfortunate.

Please re-read.

Only post serious suggestions, please. I do read the suggestion forum, religiously, and sadly, a lot of 'decent' suggestion get lost because either people are TOO partisan for or against it -- or it is lost in a crapload of trollish posts.

Talir

Please re-read the suggestion forum guidelines. It will help both you and us in considering the proposed changes.

Talir

Use common courtesy when posting a reply or a suggestion. There is nothing wrong with making a thread in an attempt to help improve our gameworld. I know there's a lot of internet sites that applaud derogatory behavior and perceived superiority in debate arguments.

We are not one of them.

ShadowCharlatan

I suggest people read or reread the suggestion guidelines before posting in this forum.

Particularly the part where if you have nothing constructive to add to a thread  beyond flatly agreeing/disagreeing or if you are just offering praise or negativity, consider just not posting at all.

Paha

Read these guidelines.

And I remind you, the trash talks have to stop in the suggestion threads. You do not go throwing shit on others or make frivolous posts. if you got nothing constructive to give, keep it in.

derfo

Again, please re-read the above posts before making a suggestion. Give us some time to continue to fine tune everything in these early days. We realize there are problems, and we do not need the suggestion forum clogged with spoilers or suggestions that we're already addressing. Thanks!

To reiterate once more:
Quote from: ShadowCarlatan..Particularly the part where if you have nothing constructive to add to a thread beyond flatly agreeing/disagreeing or if you are just offering praise or negativity, consider just not posting at all.

Do not post in other people's suggestions without good reason.

From this announcement onward, anybody trash talking or adding irrelevant replies will find that posts will be deleted outright with a view on revoking forum privileges.

Thanks :)

Paha

Poke. Please. These guidelines above -really- are not that hard to remember?

Talir

From here on, just send the quest suggestions straight to us.
