The expressive and engaging storytelling that happens not only from the vision of the areas but the raw aura that some places put out is one of the best aspects of exploring in NwN, thank you so much for your contribution and Happy Birthday Dan!

The work and energy that Abala puts in to the server to make it the best she can, is palatable. Her ambition in project and the way she handles it is very much endears me to her efforts and I genuinely find her work to be transformative for the server as a whole. Abala, you bring so much to this server and I want to thank you for every single late night and long day you've put into making it better. I do not wish to engage in too much hyperbole, but you bring a great deal to this server and the content you have made has been some of my favorite from the burgage in city of rings to the current chapter itself. As well as the under caves from the last chapter and just the nature of the Krak de Roses and the functions of government currently in the server.

The work you do is appreciated and intrinsic to the modern EFU experience. Thank you so much for sticking with us.

The time and effort you put into the server is commended, thank you for taking the time from your day to support this server and provide the people who play here needed DM infrastructure to make their dreams into the memorable stories that you and the dm team make possible. I hope you have a lovely day and more of them to come.

It rattles me that they passed so abruptly and their loss is a deeply impactful one. They were incredibly encouraging of less popular factions in the time I played with them and brought life to the server in ways that were always extremely well done and thought out. I am thankful for the limited time that I got to experience them and it hurts to know that they are no longer here. I wish their family well in this terrible time.

Agares was a really fun character to play and sadly he will not be able to put out his next books about changelings and blackmagic as he suffered from the release of his tortured existence with the sweet unspooling of his mortal coil.  I had a great time making poetry for people. He was a really fun attempt to play a ambitious idea of the Tulpa.  Below was the basics of the character.

[hide=His backstory]But I would like to give you some background on Agares because it could seem very odd to the observer why a NE GSF Necromancy bard is not more evil and outwardly monstrous. Because his necromancy is not so much a matter of dedicated expertise but one morbid curiosity. He is not evil by nature. The acts he does are evil. To slave the undead and summon souls. But he does it from curiosity. This is why outwardly he would appear a normal man until his underlayer was exposed. He has been seen in the company of Lords and a pronounced bard of the realms. Well known by many by his oratory skills and composure as an ally. Of course all of this masking his dark tastes and the debauched hedonism that grew so extreme that it led to his faith in the promise devolving into a heresy of the eternal dawn. That a man who could walk eternally could outrun the night and that could only be done by a creature made of necrotic flesh and bone. So his growing interest in necromancy and the deviancy of his intimate desires.  This interest of being an eternal creature and walker of an infinite dawn brought his education to a philosophical concept of heretical followers of the promise who believed their faith in the promise is the only reason it continued to happen. So selfishly he thinks that if enough people know and believe in him with love or hate. If he is on the lips of enough. If he can make the city remember his name. He can ensure a form of immortality by a tulpa formed from their belief for good or ill in him. The weight of their attention granting him what he believes a measure of strength. A necomantic bard who is a almost like a vampire who feeds on the attention of others because he believes through their attention and belief he can live forever. That the famous never truly die and that is why the king is so powerful because he is believed in and known in every ring.

He is not evil because he kicks puppies. He is evil because he is careless sadistic and callous of his company. He smiles and laughs, sings and dances. Of course until things are not suiting for the orator. Then he is a creature of selfish interests and with an aspiration of immortality and hedonism.

Agares did not shy away from anything foul. Changelings. Blackmagic. Undead. Mutants. Anything. It was all part of his self discovery of why things were bad and how it could help him grow. His time was spent between writing poetry and hobbling around. Agares was all about spreading his name through fame and fortune to one day immortalize himself. I do not think I ever got anywhere close to that but just writing stories was a blast.

Thank you for the time and company from everyone who came to visit him in the rat raft and rp all the lonely hours away.

I experienced her on many characters. She was nuanced as a character and I enjoyed her company IC and out.

Maybe if the dms do not wish to instate all the shops? Set up a bunch of beggar plates somewhere within the burgage where people can donate gold with certain thresh holds to get the shops they want the most back?

I personally have an extremely evil characters find redemption and they did so without questing or spending time in quests with paladins. The final journey also was spent beside someone who guided him towards it. But it was done with a great personal sacrifice from all involved and the destruction of a powerful relic. So it's not a matter of spending time and questing with evil people. If a paladin wants to change someone to good, that's a choice they need to make and a path that needs to be pushed without an obvious benefit being seen. I my opinion.

If this was to change. I would recommend oaths entirely designed about redeeming others and falling if such was not done within a reasonable timeframe.

I think exactly how you feel is what was intended. Making us think about sentience and the idea of what makes something alive or not.

Dueling on the bridge having a /c command where you bid prestige points against your enemy would be cool. Like a /c duello 150. The guy across the bridge does the same. You both get a ping saying the prestige is on the line. Then you fight and who ever wins gains and the loser takes the hit. If it is above one thousand gambled prestige in the duel. The archivists make a whisper and the fight starts in ten minutes to get observers.

When Terrifying rage is used an enemy does not suffer any reduction in damage when they fail the save.

The damage negative shows up as 0 magic beside their normal damage they do having no change.
