Obviously I was checking the combat log, else I would not know it didn't work ^^

I checked the combat log when shooting an ennemy, not less than 15 feet way, but probably 5 feet away, while it was not moving. The bonus is +1, the penalty for shooting at moving targets is -2, so I would know. I checked again shooting at an archery target, and still it didn't work. Unless the bonus doesn't apply to archery targets, but then again, even if I shoot at an ennemy much less than 15 feets away, it doesn't work. I will check again and take a screenshot.

Specifically, the bonus to attack and dammage when your target is less than 15 feets away. I didn't check the negation of the penalty to attack when in melee range.

They aren't so lucky: I used the Protection from Evil power and it doesn't work: no bonification to will saves against hold person cast by a goblin enchanter. Or maybe it was the goblin who was not evil.

RL has once more forced me to take a break. I don't know how much it will last, but I will certainly  try to be back as soon as possible. Keep up the good work!

Previous chapters also didnt have the many issues that have come with EE, so deaths happened a lot more often naturally, and properly. I must be missing something or I have been very lucky because I've  played since EFU:M and I haven't found it easier to advance to lvl 6 (and 7) than in the current chapter. There are a TON of lvl 2-5 quests that you can do alone, and at last two lvl 6 quests that you can also solo; although you certainly cannot rely on them alone to advance to 7, they certainly allow you to get a good bunch of xp. And as for the lvl 6 max non-solo quests, they are, for the most part, ridiculously easy; and as far as the 7+ max quests are concerned, I can only think of one which is very difficult, but then again you are warned beforehand. Add to this the obelisks and the magic-selling npcs, and I really don't get what is the problem of the server as far as lvling is concerned.

Glad I wasn't making this up. Watching some screenshots of EFU:M; I noticed some npcs armed with short spears and shields with the animation I was taking about. You can see it in the last screenshots.

Apparently the hak or whatever was lost during the transition to EE or the dms removed it for some reason??

In the version of the quest where you fight books, the purple tomes placeable is situated in such a way that it is a PITA to manage to actually touch it before the books spawn.

Even tough you successfully retrieve the blade from one of the three "malcontents", it doesn't appear in your inventory, and therefore it is as if you didn't retrieve it. There is no message saying you acquire it either.

You cannot take the quest. The npc says that it does not require cleaning, even tough my char is within lvl range and no one else seems to be doing the quest (at least no message is shown).

I had it equipped when the Breadblood ghost summons casted Scare / Fear (the spell that paralyzes or makes you run from the one that cast it) and the bonus to fear saving throws didn't apply.

Agreed. I don't play any non-fighter dual-wielder, but these kind of characters have it already worse than sword-and-shield and possibly two-hander; they don't need to have weapon-buffing spells cast on them twice on the top of it.

It is true it would make more sense to have the option to choose what kind of arrows a character wants to craft. I would agree to something like that, as long as the +3 bonus to lore and craft traps is enough to have a decent chance to have ammo crafted. That way it won't screw characters who didn't invest in these skills because they had no reason to.

An alternative, that may be easier for dms to implement, is to simply have to roll to craft arrows/bolts after choosing the kind of ammo one wants to craft, with the most powerful arrows having a higher dc.
