Translating Lore Placeables

Virtually every placeable that allows you to decipher the contents with a lore check has been discovered and translated by tons of different characters. In order not to spoil the fun of lore-master PCs that will come after yours, it is best to keep the translations in your journal or a private file rather than copying them to the forums.

You can reference the fact that you translated something, but the actual contents do not need usually need to be written down in the forums. There may be exceptions to this (for example if you wanted to include a specific reference in the process of composing an original text), contact a DM if in doubt.
