It could make sense between the 94 gate and the entrance to Towertop.

You can just go to the crossroads and anyone can go there, I don't understand the suggestion.

The Crossroads is useful because anyone can go there, but that's also a drawback. If you've been effectively exiled from Ticker or the Peerage, part of the point of being in the deeper rings is to make it harder for people to trivially spy on you or stick up your stall. With a stall in 93, you still announce where you are, but there's a time commitment to going there unless you're already in the area. You can make a sending from the low 90s anyway, so this is just a convenience feature like all stalls.

So with a stall in 93 there's then a tradeoff between how much custom you want vs how much exposure to the mayhem of Ring 99 you want. So do you want to use the Warrens stall or the Crossroads one.

I don't see why any of the deeper Rings should receive additional merchant stalls.

The Crossroads exist and do their job well.

If your PC happens to have a tough time now because they have been effectively exiled, by themselves or anyone else doesn't matter, then that's part of it. Getting exiled from anywhere is an inconvenience in some way. It'd take away from the exile if it wasn't.

The stalls are largely just an OC convenience factor to save fiddling around in bags or littering the floor. Old school trading sucked XD.

When you can make a sending anyway, you can still trade in 93 and announce you are trading in 93. Which is the most IC valuable bit of a stall.  If there were a couple more stalls in the "near deep" Rings, that gives a trader a choice of if they want to appear distant from Ring 99 or not. If a ring's got a Doorkeeper it might as well have a stall, because you can trade from it and announce your presence just the same. What is means is that mayhem and random seam quest groups from 99 are less likely to filter through. Sometimes you want that sense of distance, and not to lose that just so you can use a catalogue rather than dick around with NWN's horrid buggy trade window for showing stock.

Perhaps exile is the wrong word here. There's enough PCs that have decided Ring 99 is a Very Silly Place right now even if they aren't interested in heavy ring running. 93 is a nice hub because it feels more distant than it is due to the 95 challenge. It's sort of like Everest Base Camp for ring running as it's the first place with a relatively safe rest point and resupply. The Crossroads is good for what it is, which is a shortcut for moving gear to and from 99 and to let distant people do the odd quest. But a stall in the Warrens makes it feel a little more alive now it has a lot more traffic,.
