hey just wandering anything really crazy happen lately? Anybody important die? Any new crazy things added? Just wondering... 0.0

Hey even though i cant play when i did i noticed a flaw in the learning of spells that were made by the server makers such as the burning bolt or rouse spell and other made spells. When you buy the scrolls you cant learn the spells i tried and the scrolls just disappeared. Was there a post saying they couldn't be learned and i missed it? or is it a real problem :P


     I noticed that the doors in that puzzle in the arrivals tower is sometimes open when someone begins the quest when i was able to i found that that happened quite often. I closed the door and pulled the lever to start the puzzle so i could get the xp for doing it. But there are people who will take the prize and leave and abandon the quest as they might not care about the xp just wanting the prize.


      Also some items in the server that were for alchemy before it changed don't work for it anymore i was just suggesting that some items be taken out that were for alchemy and herbalism only and cant be used anymore for it because of the alchemy change. Like the icedust powder i think it was.


       Another thing i noticed was that the door in the docks crypt quest always locks after it closes the one that leads to the ghoul shaman and that can sometimes trap players within and waste some time.


      Heres another also, i timed the xp gain for me and the past few times have been more that twenty minutes maybe my timer was wrong but if its not may be an annoyance :P


       Also Ive noticed that sometimes that people may go into the sewers and hunt the rats for their meat i know that's not a problem except that some wait for the rats to respawn as they do over time and then keep harvesting the meat then take them to that goblin rat stewer maker and just leach off the potions he has. People just do that to get lots of free potions and i know this because i admit to doing it at one point.(back at the first month of me playing)

      One more cheap thing people may do is buy and sell items that are worth more to sell than to buy. Some items i realized (cant remember) sell for more than you can buy them from them and so some players just keep buying and selling to get cheap gold. I don't think that should be allowed Ive tested it out myself about a nice while back and found out that that can be done. I cant remember where or how but i just wanted to point that out for obvious reasons. I'm not sure if it was fixed by a reset or what i just know at one point i was able to do that not that i did.


    These bugs or problems may have been fixed since the times they have occurred or have been requested fixed before but i just wanted to point them out to the DMs just in case they haven't been fixed.


(one more thing i am not lieing i swear to god that these all occurred and may still occur i do not know anymore i just experienced these within my playing time)

i know it seems like im trying to just enpower players but i think animate dead should be 4th level rather than 5th because not many characters usually make it to 5 lvl spells as it is hard to survive for so long the reason why is that many necromancer players dont have many spells for their specialization... I love necro characters and for necros to be able to animate it would mean reaching 9th level for them... even though you would think that such spiecalized would have studied the spell as it is a key spell in a necros arsenal. I would recommend such changes otherwise adding a few more necro spells as made by the DMs or player ideas.. :) hope to see this looked at and reasoned.

when i go to my results to see if my submissions have been approved i click on them and it says i dont have permission to do so is that supposed to happen? otherwise all i know is im supposed to ask a DM and i cant see what DMs said or did

id like to report this as my character was almost retired by DM for this. When playing a character I am sure everyone experiences this everything may lag so much that everything ceases to move but your character enemy's stop attacking the dialogue area stops you say something but it doesn't appear and before you know it it says "server connection error you have been disconnected from server" and you cant log back in due to CD key still in use or bioware disconnection and when you do log back in your character is dead and you don't know why. The DM will check the logs and they will say you were logged out at a time a few minutes before you regained connection. In my situation i was fighting troglodytes and was underwater. This happened to me when i logged back in i was dead drowned as i think it said. The DM ported me to the DM area to discuss what happened as my dad was a DM for the WrathOfZero server and said that that method was a way of copying items and found that characters would shape shift into a creature get disarmed shape shift into another do the same then shift back and the player would have both awesome weapons from shift log out with them in inventory and when they logged back in the items would merge and become a permanent magic item. The DM "no name as he was wrong don't want to make him look bad it wasn't his fault" asked me what happened and i said exactly what happened "the beginning scenerio" and he said he didn't believe me i was telling the honest truth but he said my character was to be retired until i sent an email apologizing about lieing to the DM. I said no as i was telling the truth. So while my character was in the retirement zone i requested speaking to another DM other than the DM that retired me. I told him the same thing and also said "wheres the logic in me taking my fav character taking him underwater right next to the exit to the surface and sitting there for 15 rounds until i drowned low enough to knock me to bleeding then not send a PM for help as my party was right above me and then log out so i would die right there and then... He checked the logs and looked at the logic and believed me unretired my character and both DMs apologized for the inconvenience i realized that players may do what i did in another case scenario but mine had no proof that i cheated cloned or did anything out of the ordinary i just stood there as the logs say and i died only an idiot does that "no offense to the retarded or challenged" so i am now playing my character and having fun again please DMs i urge you to study this problem further i ask you to see if this is happening to others or  otherwise tell me as  that may mean my connection needs fixing or my comp. is messed up and needs repairs. I also would like to say that the DM that retired me was just doing his job as DM and i respect that id like to say good job to him and the other DM for looking into it further thank you everyone for reading and id like to see this problem fixed if possible.:D:D:D

oi just reporting that i cant make any successful clerics of orcus because everytime i make one it says domains are wrong and so its alignment. BUT i have chosen the domains as shown in the forum. Also the alignment i chose the alignment listed for orcus. And so i just wanted to see if you could check up on that or "DM's only" tell me the domains of him as well as alignment so i can say if i picked them. So thanks for reading and send a reply a report as soon as possible thanks!:D

:( well sorry to the few who knew my mage Varkalis Slumnicin he is not allowed for me to play so sorry. But hey now im starting a new PC. An also any of you have any advice for me so that i can get better that would be appreciated:D

its a tragedy mason was killed while roaming the forests in search of a way back to the city when out of no where a pack of forest wolves and a dire wolf come chasing after me.. 0.0 i was running along not really wanting to fight em when another pack of wolves with a dire wolf joined the one chasing me XD i was like holy !@#* because each pack had a lot of wolves i then drank a running potion and booked it. God knows how this happened when another pack came from in front of me blocking my way out. So it was just me and three packs of wolves + 3 dire wolfs. I was screwed on chance he was only 6th level and didnt have very good equipment. My longsword wasnt very good as this server sadly does not have hardly any good longswords to find. And if there were i was very unlucky at finding them. But anyway i tried fighting but got overwhelmed by all the wolves and was sadly killed. Too abd hes the farthest ive ever gotten oh well time to start again the new main is Zachary Greyman another fighter with better stats and batter starting hitpoints i hope he lasts a while. except hes probably not destined for too great as he has a very dark secret lol :D cya in game and sorry to those who liked Mason he was bound to die sometime..:D

players and DMs im sorry for exploding earlier i was just angry at yet another rejection and plus i had a bad day and another thing to tack on didnt help im sorry i made that post. Also a spiecal thanks to Garem for the message he sent me :D it was completely true.
We prefer creative and unique storytelling. That's why Ymph is such a  neat setting-- the entire story of Ymph comes from the creativity of our  DMs and players. The tales we weave are not inspired by anything but  our own input. Really, that's what roleplaying should be. The Forgotten  Realms just provides a starting point and some important details  (deities, races, subraces, etc) that we can look to.

i dont mean to disrespect the DMs or cause trouble but every request i make is rejected. Recently anybody whos seen me play Rufus Entreri please tell me if i was doing anything wrong with him. I had no idea i was supposed to apply to play anybody related to famous characters. So i did what any good player would have done and decided i would follow the rules and make an application. REJECTED. This character was my fav and my highest. I have good knowledge on the Artemis Entreri as i have read almost the whole book series including him in them. (P.S. anybody else read them). So what do i have to lie and not tell DMs about my characters to play them. Because apperently everytime i try i will be rejected. I tried to apply to  be a drow wizard (REJECTED). Its a Bunch of BS this server i thought might be fun but no any thing i wanna play to make the game more interesting i have to "apply" to do it. I would have no problem with it if they (A-C-C-E-P-T-E-D) anything. But no. I am making a new character now as my funnest character is "retired" until allowed. I m telling you its BS. Im gonna make a poll if you think Rufus was a good character and that i was playing him fine please vote "GOOD" if you think i overtold everybody who i was and made it clear i was a terrible player please vote "BAD" DMs of course also can vote.:(
