Hello! I am looking for around 5 or 6 players to be involved in a Prelude.

Characters made should include a Military background that I will be providing upon start, however the most important thing is that all of the characters involved are either Necromancers, or are willing to work with Necromancers. This is, by all accounts, a Necromancer prelude.

PCs are not race restricted, though I would prefer humans. Non-Paladin, Non-Druid obviously.

For successful applicants, I will be ideally reaching out prior to the start of the event to explain your situation so you have some time to prepare your character, though worst case scenario you will have everything explained the day we start. I would appreciate all hopeful applicants to include a personal goal you may have as well involving what you may do once you're turned lose upon the server.

Apps for anyone curious can begin now, and they will end 2/19/2024.

The tentative starting date for this prelude will be ideally the weekend of the 24th or the 25th. It should be very conflict heavy, so please no alts, and no rush if you're already playing a PC, no need to abandon something good!

The Banda Rossa work for coin, Balladeer. That means that we perform a task, and we are paid for it. We are not going to start petty squabbles nor wars with the Misfortune so long as the Grandmaster wishes us to maintain our position in Ephia's Well, and not be evicted to die in the Ash Wastes.

It is the Cinquefoil Rose that demands the attention of the Capitana's Banda Rossa, and not the other way around. You are free to provide our soldiers hazard pay for things you wish them to undertake, if they see fit to do so. You will not provide orders to our soldiers otherwise, and you will not insult la Capitana.

When you do not utilize our might, do not be surprised when the Banda Rossa begins accepting work offers beyond the Krak des Roses. If one of your Balladeers had come to offer us the prerequisite 7,500 dinar to maintain the pack, perhaps things would have gone differently.

In regards to your threat alongside the Sisterhood, when we wish their thoughts, we shall ask the Sisterhood. When we wish the opinions of the College of Balladeers, we will then also ask the Sisterhood.

I've heard rumor that you're convinced the Banda Rossa intends to attack other settlements, and that you may be causing a stir over nothing. Allow me to clarify this for you: We are not going to assault Spring's Gift. There is not a plan to attack the settlement. There has never been a plan to attack the settlement. La Banda Rossa is under an exclusive contract to guard Ephia's Well, specifically the Krak des Roses, at the discretion of the Grandmaster. We are not, at this time, warmongering, nor are we going to be assaulting other settlements unless in her infinite wisdom, Grandmaster Elizabetha decides that is what we must do. You can rest easy at night knowing that you Newborn Elves are safe from Banda Steel.

I've never tried writing poetry before. And nobody can tell me where to find what I'm looking for. I'm fucked. I didnt have to learn poetry in the Pauper Ponds, this is why I'm in the Banda Rossa instead of the Balladeers. All I know how to do is paint, and that's not the same sort of theme.

The lesson with Amelie was good. I think I absorbed something. Gave me the idea that I could write songs, but I cant fucking sing them either. I dont know how she forgave me for what I did. By all rights, I feel the other two should hate my guts. I've certainly tried to get them to, it seems.

How dont they despise me?

I need to start practicing my writing. That might take my mind off it. Its something better to do with my hands than losing hours staring into that amulet. Maybe I'll look into the gem just a little while before my reverie. Just a little bit.
