I have not forgotten the way in which we initially met, but I am also not one to dwell upon the past.

A mutual friend believes that we should meet and discuss the future of Ephia's Well.

I agree, in truth. I would also advise you to meet with others of my order and discuss what you are willing and able to do for them in exchange for the Tower's votes.

I will explain my desires in greater detail in person, but they essentially come down to two fundamental requirements:

1) Unseat the Dog Nadiri so hard that dreams of the Legate Seat never again occupy his thoughts.
2) Rule for the League of White, first and foremost, and not the Cinquefoil Rose.

Obviously, I am no child. I understand the need to court the Rose in advance of the election, yet I have been largely aghast at how many Legates shackle themselves to those wretches and let all their dreams die on the vine, save those that can be vetted and approved by the denizens of the Krak.

Worse still, are those Legates who possess no dreams of their own and content themselves with being a soulless minion of the orthodoxy, a hollow suit of armor that bleeds red and black.

So prepare to speak on your dreams, because Dog Nadiri aside, that is what I consider most important.

The behavior of your Sergeants in the Legate's office was beyond the pale.

They have claimed that the Tower is useless to them and that they despise our relationship.

I demanded an apology but I am not an unreasonable woman. I would also accept a flogging, if you deem such appropriate.

I personally believe they are lacking in the proper decorum befitting Officers of the Janissaries and should be demoted as their promotions were clearly made in error.

Instead, I have been rather troubled to learn that you are instead jackals.

I expected a united front and some semblance of cohesion, but not only do I see your League riddled with agent provocateurs, but your ACTUAL members are grasping desperately for the reins of power, thinking that there is a chance to reach the Legate Seat.

To save time and not repeatedly field the same questions, here is a brief explanation of the approval requirements under the new Descent Law.

Each expedition will...

- Be reported in advance, and be approved by, an Apothar or Zenithar
- Include at least one Nadiri, Apothar, or Zenithar*
- Include only those also pre-approved to Descent

To further simplify, here is an example of the process:

Before Your Trip:
1) Find someone who has the Passphrase, there are many such people**
2) Ensure you and those who will accompany you know the dangers involved (Optional)
3) Submit a list of those you intend to bring on the trip to any Apothar

The Day of Your Trip:
1) Find your pre-determined Nadiri Companion
2) Treat this Nadiri respectfully and answer any report-related questions they may have during the trip
3) Survive

In the event that your Nadiri Companion perishes, the following actions must be taken:
1) A surviving member of the trip still needs to write a Report including:
   a) the date
   b) who accompanied
   c) what objects (if any) were retrieved
2) Ensure the Nadiri and their belongings are returned to the Tower

Such requirements are necessary to ensure this knowledge is shared as needed to advance the prosperity of Ephia's Well and also to ensure that any disasters unleashed are not concealed and can be properly responded to and mitigated.

* Bringing an Apothar or Zenithar along simplifies this process a great deal
** I will not be providing a list of those who possess the passphrase
