I don't comment often in these places...

I want to say this was a very interesting story to read, and excellently illustrated by your thread.

To roll with the punches, to eat dirt, and to rise and rise again by weaving these implacable hardships into a narrative is perhaps the greatest challenge of EFU.

That is an interesting idea. Especially for the new edition coming out.  Accommodate a broader variety of player preferences when it comes to the mechanical aspects of the server.

Absolutely excellent. I love the analogy tying the character's nature as a wereboar to his behavior and his goal of kidnapping ten women. This is A+ conceptual consistency

I think what it needs is some truly unique mechanical quirk. Spells x/day are fluff mostly, stop-gaps for less interesting ideas. Spell alteration provide uniqueness, but 'better AC' with the shield spell doesn't really cut it either...What I think would be awesome to pump up the religious twist would be something like:

Level 1: may carry and use a relic (only the item bonuses, max restriction Cleric level 3) of appropriate alignment (or similar restriction).
Level 5: restriction up to level 5.
Level 8: restriction up to level 7.

Could lead to interesting takes by 'real' relic guardians who may object that a sorcerer would usurp the last fragments divinity to power his own blood...

Our only chance lies in the Talalir-pahacharlatan Golem of Code-forging to challenge the demon-beast of forward incompatibility, armed with weapons of cascading-bugs and armored with layers of dependency-hell...

We must make our golem strong indeed. The ritual cannot be delayed...

I've always been a fan of alternative punishments that have some meaningful consequences terms of narration and not just culling your wallet or worst, your limbs. I'm glad such options are out there for the Covenant.

It is indeed an IG issue, but when deciding on 'creative punishments' - you necessarily consider what's doable and what's not in terms of module. Having a similarly scripted faction-specific punishment option for the Exiles and the Red Cloaks would be a great thing. Some form of enthralment and Legal debt-bondage easily come to mind, but I'm sure there are better ideas out there.

We had a thread long ago about it. I think some domains could absolutely benefit from recalibration.

The “major” domains especially. We have such nicer thematic spell choice now...

Alternatively - rather than adding spells and struggling with the choices and delicate balance - we could customize one spell per domain to be “special”

Water could change hammer of the gods to freeze targets

Fire domain could add a combust-like damage over tome...

Air could cause a lightning ricochet, etc.

I think there is great thematic possibilities in having domains customize “signature cleric spells”
