 Mogrim was a whim, created to bother Grackens Gnomeish priest Cosgrove. My first char after some absence, and had no desire to put much thought in him at creation, let the game dictate his future. My only goal with him, was to have fun. Which I did, shown by his long run. Thanks to all from the Church of Hope in the early days to my Gnomeish conspirators and the New Fellowship at the end, the Family Mut-kabid and all the rest of the dregs Mogrim ran about with. He did not discriminate. If your goals fit his odd pseudo religion -Completely made up on the fly, after a DM event on Easter, - he would roll with you to acheive whatever daring do you set out. This included Raiding Transyr on many occasions, raising a Skeletal Dragon, destroying a Demon Keep, and sacrificing an old couple to their dead kids ghostly whims, to name a few. There were alot more hijinks, but I only grabbed screenies of the Loot! Tenet number two! Share the Loot! Hope you all had as much fun playing with him as I had running him. His end was perfect, and it was time. The fun had run it's course. He made it to level 8 for about two weeks, but most of his life was bounceing from 7 to 5 and back again. He had amazing armor Howland had made and a fantabulous helm, but I cannot find screen shots of those, if I do I will add them.  See you soon! Perhaps something more..Serious! Probably not..

This is awesome!  I thought this would be DM events or something, but explorables!  So excited had to make a post!
 

Not sure if they are related, but it seems to be a strong coincidence.  Since the server migration, I can log in, but crash within a minute or two of play starting. This happens every time I log in. Have tested it peak hours, late hours and early morning hours and same result. Log in, game loads..start to play, minute or two later, game crashes.   Any ideas?  It was fine and never happened before the server migration. Not sure they are related, but that is the only change I can figure out.  Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I stumbled across this guys channel a month or so ago.  Also cross promoted our server on it, need to keep the fresh blood coming in!  Anyhow if your interested in DnD, this is a great resource.

PC Azgal Skali.  Got level drained by random Mob specter encounter in a random generated  area.   I was with Devin Warder.  We went to Spellbeggars lane in Upper, and tried all the priests.  None gave the option to have necromantic energies removed, when I triggered the dialogues.  When Devin tried, who was NOT level drained, he got the dialogue to have it cured.  Maybe the priest just dislikes dwarfs, but seems like some kind of bug?  The only NPC that can cure level drain..cannot? Moreso that Devin was able to get the conversation.  We tried this several times, with the exact same result, he got the dialogue and I did not. I only got the options for disease, poison or heal. He got the other one as well, every time we tried.

Got the message I can update to 10 yesterday, ..I am hesitant for many reasons, but one of them being if EFU will run on it? (I no longer call it nwn, as EFU has clearly taken the platform over!)
Any advice/experience with 10 and the game or just general experiences with 10, are appreciated.

Not as ancient as myself, but he has succeeded in cheating Death another year! Shower him in Loot and RP, and wish him well for the next one!! Happy Birthday Diz-e!!!

All good things must come to an end, and so has Thane Falgrim's reign. Last few months have been pure awesome, thanks to all the Dawnrise Brigade members, allies and enemies!  I surpassed every goal I had for Falgrim at creation, and was really reaching for the stars on the next set, alas...death comes for us all! Fun facts: Spent almost his entire life between 5 and 6. Died often, and usually to a Bear, or Lizard.  Rarely had more then 50 coin to his name.  Had one piece of DM loot, that was purely for RP.  So, want to make something in EFU? You do not need to be any good at pvp, gaining levels, or even need a DM. Though it helps :) The DM part.    Just come up with a sound idea, and recruit folks IG to it! Build it and they will come!  Especially if you get lucky enough to land a PC like Hilinar and Bodoc early on in your faction!

Goals at creation:1.) Play LG to the Hilt. Never had a LG character, so really wanted to be a Knightly type without the DE.
                          2.) Help create a Dwarven Fortress- Thanks to Hilinar and the rest of the Brigade for that one- was epic at it's peak, and still might be more, depending on how IG stuff goes!
                          3.) Revive dwarven life and culture, trying to glean the best of the past concepts into something new- i.e. The Danwrise Brigade, which became the Hall Khaz'Harbryn.
                          4.) Reach level 8. An epic goal for me, achieved finally in this chapter. 2 chars in 5 years, of mine, have made that. I must be a masochist to keep coming back!  
                          5.) Try and kill off that awful scottish brogue dwarf style of speaking. I must admit, totally ripped off Henrik Hansens speech patterns, cause he was one of the best dwarves ever!  
                         
Becomeing a leader was never a plan, nor desire for him, but..it happened, so I embraced it.  Screeshots to follow, thanks again all for making this my Dwarf de Triumph, feel like I can set that race down now, for quite a while! Hope you all enjoyed him as much as I did!  The Dawnrise Faction still exists, and tons for them to do yet, so get in and get involved!  Hilinar, will welcome you with open arms! Or an axe to the face, depending on his mood..     screenies soon!

There was, in EfuA or M, an option once you loaded in the game world, to skip all the beginner fed ex quests and what not, and start at level 4?   Something similar would be great for those that do not need a tour of the server that takes you to every NPC you need to get situated. It would allow antagonistic pcs to jump in pretty quickly, rather then run about carrying pies. But who does not like pie??!

Having returned after my catastrophic computer failure a few months back, I just wanted to drop a line expressing how incredibly amazing the server has become, in a few short months. It was par excellence before, but now..All the new quests, revamped old ones, lairs, custom classes, EFU is essentially it's own game now, separate from NWN.  Simply amazing now.  Huge thanks to all that worked on coding all of that, it must of been a ridiculous amount of work, not to mention reformatting our forums in such a short window of time. And the playerbase still far exceeds any other online group in roleplay, period.  

  Anyhow, really glad to be back, and in such a refreshed and revitalized setting.  And yes..as soon as I am economically unchallenged,  I do know the proper way to express my thanks!

A distraction, an experiment, a test.  Maaravi was all these things..I got lucky? enough to get infected by lycnanthropy, and decided to embrace it completely. Unfortunately he never got to become the true hunter and fearsome beast I had hoped, but then pvp was never my strong suit.  He was a ton of fun to play, and I hope he kept folks a little on edge when going into the sewers.   There are some pretty amazing wild folks plots going btw, if your looking for such a thing, now is the time to jump in.

No screenies, he really did not do much worthy of them, but man he was a riot to play.

Thanks to to the Monks of the Inbetween for an epic fight..great way to go out.

               Did all his pvp at level 4 and 5
               Highest level attained was 6 for a few days.

No option to do ..anything ..in the fugue after clicking can I still live prompt.
Did Wildling/Loner prelude with Barb char., and regardless how death occurs, fugue has no prompt to respawn., at corpse or otherwise.

Died valiantly defending what is now the last Silent Starling crew member.  I have a good amount of Screenies, but need to resize, and heading out of town. I will Post them up tho!  Thanks to DM JaydeMoon, Mira, D I, Caster and the fine players of Lower! Lower4Life! You know who you are, Hounds,Hoarans, Scrappers, Ascensionists and Lowersmen!  It was a wild 4? Month ride., I really enjoyed every moment of it.

My first successful (sort of) Casting PC ..ever. In five years..
                Went from CG to CN thru, companions of questionable intentions:twisted: and all that comes with it.
                Walked to Sanctuary from the Surface, fought thru Transyr, fought off a Slaadi Invasion, a drow Invasion, a kobold Invasion,  Was a Silent Starling, A Hundred Hound, A Sojourner of the Pilgrims Passage. A Lowersmen. A diplomat, Advisor, and Son of the Wind.

I was lucky enough to get some down time for the holidays, so I created Zek Tura, a tavern bouncer from Waterdeep before the apocalypse, with more in common with humans then his own kinsmen (A character bastardization from the Dwarven based novels I also read this Holiday)...a vanilla Barbarian with the intent of not getting into anything serious, mostly due to my own time constraints, knowing that I would only be able to really enjoy him for the holidays..well despite my best efforts, he got involved in a proper Lower 4 Life standoff with a band of Duergar, and had a glorious end, giving a finger to the authority he hated (In the case a band of incredibly bad assed grey dwarves!)  

Much thanks to Grannie and Blu41 for all the companionship and roll play, to BoM, Buddgies and company for the great ending! and to Albla Quickfoot(sorry don't recall your handle), for playing along with and being the subject of his tirades!  (Best Pally I have seen in some time, btw!)
