I can get my game to work on Windows 7, but it crashes randomly at times, and it is very annoying, it even cost me some xp once >.<. Anyone have some advice? Also I can't skip past the intro movie without it closing the game if i don't let it finish which is a real pain after i crash.

Guns 'n Roses

Right click on the NwN shortcut icon and open it as the administrator. Then SPAM your left mouse button to skip through the intro.

yeah clicking even once in the intro sequence crashes the game instantly.

Kotenku

delete the intro files from the movies directory in your neverwinter nights folder.

thanks kotenku, that worked so now i don't have to wait 5-6 min to load up after a crash, if anyone can figure out a way to keep the game from crashing please tell me, and again thanks kotenku for the advice:D

It gives the windows error with the program?

Make sure you have all the nwnmain.exe and such original and shortcuts runnings as administrator, and in xp sp 3 compatibility mode.

This little trick is great.  Eliminates start-up crashes and speeds up relogging as well.

You can also add under display options in the NWN.ini file: Disable Intro Movies=1

This way you don't have to delete them.
