Legate Marcellus Saenus,

Please accept my sincere apologies for bothering you with such trivial questions via letter, I believe it to be above my station to petition you directly, when I am aware you have far greater work to be doing upon the daily, so I hope that my letter finds you in adequate cheer and good health.

My name is Natasha Vantas, I am a new arrival in Ephia's Well, from the Old City. Though my former abode worshipped the Lord of Knowledge, Izdu, I have come to know Him well in the time since the departure of my former Masters.

In this letter, I would request to speak with you sometime, should you find the time, so that I may prostrate myself before you, and Lord Izdu, to beg that I be allowed to work for your wonderous temple. I have been without altar, without proper worship, without a holy place to speak my prayers for some time.

It would please me immensely to be granted the honor of assisting you in keeping your library, dusting and cleaning the temple, and keeping it in immaculate order for you and your guests going forward. I am a humble servant, and though I have found new Masters in the Torchbearers, my heart yearns for the completion of duty for my faith.

Thank you for your consideration, and for reading this if it has made it to your desk, and if you did not read this, if it was cast into a fire with a vast amount of other, unimportant letters, I completely understand, and I sincerely apologize for overstepping.

Your Humble Servant,
Natasha Vantas
