Bard Songs

Would it be possible in someway to have something, even if its little hints like the Alchemy System, to let a bard know what the songs do?

I've a few songs and there are changes that occur to stats and such, just changes I have no idea what of!

Simplest way is to check your stats before using the song, then check them after.  Any diffence is down to the song.

It's not entirely obvious if you get, say a Fortitude save vs Poison increase like for Ironguts. That only says Fortitude Saving Throw Increased on the interface/char sheet. Same for Damage Immunity vs a particular physical type. I agree, the basic bard songs and the ones that were formerly perks have it clear what they do. Since you have to select a song and use it, it seems fair not to be doing it blind.
