You could take it an opportunity to branch out of your comfort zone instead. There's not very many things in EFU with gender restrictions. Plenty of other perks, classes or ways to do a similar style if you don't want to though.
I don't get the thematic purpose of Rotbringer being male only. Maiden of Woe I can see, that's kind of a female-associated archetype, but not Rotbringer. Maybe it's just to have a counterbalance so there's not just a woman-only perk...
