Gausim al-Marain
Herein in-closed reader do I share what may be considered a legal journal, kept in public record and trust. May Mother B'aara judge these records kept fairly, and may the Public of Ephia's Well judge them with scrutiny.
Some of them you may find agreeable, some you may find disagreeable, but above all else I shall keep them to the utmost. Though I am by Faith, Oath, and Culture bound to peace remember these words well before you read forward:
I am B'aarat. This does not mean she is without judgement, only that she errs towards mercy.
B'aara is the Mother of Sultans.
To Rule, and aid the Ruler, is sacred.
To adhere to and uphold the tenants of Law divine.
And in this matter I will do as I must and am able to honor She and The Sultan.
