The description says he rarely wins the bouts but that must have been before he underwent alcoholism therapy since he has --REMOVED BY DM VLAID-- There I was hoping he would be a joke and I ended up burning more supplies than the ones I spent for the previous 3-4 gladiators I challenged, and all this for just 100 xp and 15 miserable prestige points.

The rewards for gladiators appear to have been (silently?) adjusted.

Beating the Black Knight gave me 20 XP.

Did I mention he has one very, very powerful advantage which I won't mention because I don't think I should, but this is to suggest this should be seriously looked into because I seriously think this is bugged (And the above post would tend to confirm that imho  ;D)

The reward for beating the Black Knight is a joke compared to the risk.

The rewards have always scaled downwards with level.

And speculating on the rewards and specifics of the fights or broadcasting them OOCly is not desirable. If you wait until level 9-10 to fight Gladiators it is sensible that their rewards should fall off dramatically (just like quests do).
