Greetings Old Friend.

I write to understand how sponsorship on the Stele works.  There are 'groups' now who I would barely call a group at all.  More like a small gathering of lovers friends.  Self proclaimed scouts and small operation force yet are rarely if ever seen in the field by those who spend a great deal of time all over the Great Ring and beyond.  Personally I just don't understand perhaps.  Is it a political move?

I propose a new amendment or perhaps a law that will outline the actual requirements for an organization to become sponsored on the Stele.

1. Have and maintain at least 5 members, excluding a commanding officer.

2. Have a clear stated charter declaring your duties to Ephias Well.

3. Actively maintain your sworn duties under any conditions or adversity.

4. Have an active headquarters of operations.

I will continue to work on this but I plan to bring this matter up at the next Assembly.

I don't get the removal of the ability for small races.  They already have a disadvantage of being KDed because of size yet lose any advantage being small like an ac bonus or ab bonus.  You can also only use small weapons further lessening damage given and max a medium weapon two handed.

Since people play 20 dex halfling all small races / build should be yoinked?  You already have -2str making you less than other races for any class except a 20 dex halfling.

I think it should be reversed and if the concern is people jacking up one stat to the max maybe there are other ways to address it?

I'm writing to ask for historical reference and accuracy, how many battles or engagements has the the Field Commander actually participated in?

So far I've heard that it's a big zero that she's been in the field commanding anything.  I'm maybe confused about the position.  Does one actually have to lead men and women in battle or is it merely a ceremonial position that one uses to boast over about over bellow?

Perhaps I am misinformed so I  eagerly await to be corrected. 

I hope to follow a true inspiring leader who is on the field with the men risking their life.

How can I prove myself worthy to apprentice under you?  I'd like to learn the ways of engineering and tinkering.  That is if you wish to take someone under your tutorage.

I was talking to some folks and an idea about prisms came up.  Everyone knows the frustration game with them, you can do like 10 in a row and get nothing useful.

So the idea is perhaps prisms can drop WITH a specific aspect tuned to it already.  Then they have value and be traded.  Some might be worth more or some less.  You could then perhaps up the crafting DC on the roll to bind it to an item.  A sort of way to balance it and make it more risky.

I think if you're looking at it as a way to get player to waste gold this would make players set prices and spend gold much more.

With weapons being reworked I was wondering if there could be a balance with some of the weapon weights?

Hand Axe - 5lbs
Mace - 6lbs
Short Sword - 3lbs
Tiny Hammer - 2lbs

They all do the same damage.  A mace is 1lbs lighter than a battle axe at 7lbs.

I think some other weapons are similar like a double axe is 25lbs but a warm mace is only 15lbs (I think).

Anyways just a suggestion but I think the weight between the small weapons doesn't make much sense.

I'm looking to hire someone with good eyes that knows the northern desert well.

I also need someone who knows magic and can translate languages.

This is potentially a long term contract maybe leading to greater finds.

I write to you in dire times.  I suspect the great traitor we seek it none other than Mirielle Rosseau.  Let me lay out my evidence of such.

-It was her who allegedly met Diakos in the field, who knows what sort of talk was done there.  We have only her word.  She is a mercenary and would do anything for dinar.  As shown as her excessive mewing over the small wage we receive to kill the orcs.  Being paid for jobs is what she does, who knows maybe she was paid off by Diakos himself that day.

-Who was it that took Domhnall out to 'survey' the Rose Gate, then was ambushed by a legion of the Sibilant Empire.  Someone who had military planning skills and contact with Diakos could only pull such a feat off.

-She points fingers at everyone, calling them traitors and spies.  With no proof.  She slanders good men and women of Ephias' Well daily.

-The desire to defund Al-Sayaadin and allow the orcs to not only grow in numbers but out defense force become weaker and lack in training.  I was at Red Hill as you were.  We need everyone supplied and trained for the fights ahead.

-Lasty and the most SOLID proof is she hates the gnomish people.  A self proclaimed Moteist wearing a badge as she walks around Ephias' Well.  Who else would HATE the gnomes, the greatest foe of scaled-kind?  I will tell you who... someone allied with the New Sibilant Empire!


Please, have a FULL investigation by the Fourth Legion and perhaps searched for signs of Brooking.  Something is amiss here, friend.  Use your gut feelings.  You know something is off here.

Hello.

I was writing to you about one of our League's members, a Mirielle Rosseau, whom I feel has violated one of our most precious tenants.

-To welcome all who seek refuge, no matter their imagined worth

She is a self proclaimed Moteist, those who hate the gnomish people, for no reason at all.  I feel like this goes against everything we believe in as a group.

-To protect and develop our home, free from the shackles and boots of others.

She is lobbying to have Al-Sayaadin disbanned, a group of citizens coming together to fight the dangers and threats who march against our home.  A group who has risen up she only wants rip it down.  Making it so the people cannot defend themselves, only the Accord.

These are but a few of many reason I feel she should be ejected from our wonderous League of White.  Her ideals do not match with ours.

I suggest, if possible, to give favored enemy at very 3 levels instead of every 5 levels.  So at level 1,6, and 9 instead of level 1,5, and 10z

With the server level range I think it would boost the power of a ranger by allowing them to be more useful in a more broad range.

I think it would also give some extra versatility.

It would be cool to have a spawn point in the Tablet that's not inside the dwarven refugee house, for those who might not be welcomed to live with the dwarves.  Maybe I missed it, though I didn't see one!

You claim citizen is earned by merit and not coin.  I am a veteran of the Battle of Red Hill.  Should such deeds done in the name of others be enough to earn one a Voice here?  Or are lives worth even less than coin?

Was not the call to aid the refugees given by the Princess herself?  Perhaps I am wrong.  Maybe fighting so others might have a life and not die in the wastelands or become slaves is nothing.

We met briefly when you called an assembly in the halls of the White League.  I tried to warn you that your platform was shaky.  The war and safety were the big issues.

While I agree with your ideal  in many ways I'd like to meet and talk with you further more privately.

Will those who returned from saving those refugees be granted Voice?  Was this deed not service enough to the Well?  What more must one do to earn citizenship other than lay ones life on the line at the call of those in power?

I know this has been asked before but since a lot of work is being done on the module perhaps this could also become  reality now?

Even if they were on 10 or 15 min cool down, that would be pretty good.  Most if not all last very short term and are underwhelming at best.  Of course some are better than others.
