The man, the legend, Frank Eustice Hornswaggle is no more. His time was cut brutally short but it was a fun ride while it lasted.

A simple but complicated concept.

Frank was a very common man who had lived all his life as a common man, beggar, mandolin player for coin and bandit. A little known fact (which became more well known as time went on) was that Frank was actually cursed by the fey. His curse was one said to be immortality, the curse for which was an everlasting thirst for the substance and a pervasive aura of ill-fortune which plagued him and (sometimes) those around him.

Alas, the fey are tricky creatures and the boon granted was perhaps not all that he had hoped for in immortality. He aspired to climb up from the muck, the stray dog that was Frank wanted to be the one doing the kicking; to take back what had been taken from him, or at the very least, take it back from those associated with those who had taken from him.

Originally I had planned for him to be nothing more than a common scum bag with a strange affinity and love of the substance and rat hunting. That changed when he met Drogor and he dragged him out on a wild quest train; Frank had gotten his first taste of what would be the drug that truly ruined him: adventure.

When the posters went up for a grand arena event at the Pyrimo Inn Frank could not resist. Feeling his curse would protect him and his newly earned potions and swordsmanship skills would defeat whatever monsters lay ahead, he entered in hopes of climbing above his lot in life. It was not to be and so ended "Fat Frank", "Famous Frank" and many other irksome nicknames he was called over his short life.

Even the short ones can be fun and so was Frank. RIP Franky.
