It is always best when players enforce the rules they make themselves.

I actually hate all law enforcement factions, as soon as there IS one with any beef to it everyone gets super careful about breaking any laws and the Law Enforcement PC's get super bored and go all out for the pettiest shit just to have something to do.

The mob made the Dispenser rules, may the mob enforce them.

Drain Life: Does 1dCHA negative energy damage to nearby living allies and enemies in a huge radius. Heals the user equal to the total damage done up to a maximum of DLevel*CHA.

Damage works, no healing is received.

Lesser magic eaters and Medium magic eaters kill each other, I feel all magic eaters should get along and wreck parties who decide to cast spells in the appropriate places.

Spiders kill each other if their type is different

Gnoll random gnolls and cave prowlers kill each other

Sometimes enemies in Breadblood (I think ghouls?) Will kill other spawns

Things step on their own traps and get hurt (The trap faction and the trap layer faction are at war, very messy)

There is probably more, but I forget feel free to pitch in.

Will pay 50k gold in increments for +1 strength. Do you even lift?

Being illiterate is more an RP thing than a mechanical thing, granted if you have 6 int you definitely shouldn't be able to read.

Suggestions / Re: Thoughts about PFA Spell Change

If anything I feel PF alignment is still too good. +2 uni saves vs alignment from PFA  is too good when you can stack it up with itself for +4 making true neutral still reign supreme in the alignment block.

I would say remove PF Law and Chaos from the server or remove the +2 universal save attached to the spell.

Suggestions / Re: Human Domain for Clerics?

Humans tend to have the most choices when it comes to domains, as most gods are human gods.

I don't think this is needed, and the things you listed would be really really strong bonuses.

I don't like animal companions.
I also don't like mage familiars.

It has always been jarring to me that you have an invisible animal by your side at all times and it can just as easily disappear when I am trying to kill it.
Mechanically they tend to not be great and the exp hit is huge for taming especially at higher levels (8/9) if you could recoup exp by releasing you could use your companion as an exp bank.. Pass.

I do think that the Dog Master Fighter perk's dog could be an interesting mechanic to add to Druid/Ranger companions since they are effectively the same thing and instead of giving it levels and a full upgrade, an adjustment of str/dex/con depending on how long it has been alive and how long it has been summoned in its life would be interesting.

Tier 0 - No bonuses
Tier 1 - +2 con physical 5% DI
Tier 2 - +2 str dex con physical 5% DI (Total stat adjustment)

Of course the amount of time having been summoned would have to be quite long and some may be offended by your jungle cat prowling Ticker Square and kill it for you if you just sit in town with it out all day.

Off topic but, Rangers are extremely good when played like a ranger rather than a fighter or a barbarian they are a full BAB class with an amazing kit.

They can use traps
They have the best stealth
The only full BAB with spot
They have ground control spells
Favored enemy is very strong, they can exceed normal BAB classes in AB against their favored enemies (Human? the main rings are infested with human bandits and human nobles, I feel it is a more logical pick than most)
If you want, you can dual wield and get all the feats for free in light armor
Can use divine wands

I personally believe Rangers are better than Paladins if you know your mechanics and can play to the classes strengths and weaknesses.

General Discussion / Before you decide to pvp
February 17, 2019, 08:26:59 PM
Type /c hostile all

It is your responsibility to be hostile to anyone you are attacking.

If you don't want to automatically hostile your friends type /c setally X ( I think that is the command) In advance and it will not hostile those you have set. Use the same command again to take them off of your ally list.

Thanks

Maybe when there is more level 8 content readily available..

But please not now.

There seems to be two factions of enemies in the earth seam gnoll random, and they love killing each other.

There is also one room of level 1 gnoll melee warriors that have barricaded themselves behind some mushrooms and guard nothing, easily ignored. I suggest changing them into crossbowmen so they can at least take pot shots.

Already forces you out of stealth when you pick it up and gives you a meaty stealth penalty and a significant speed penalty while also weighing 50lb.

I think it has done enough.

Suggestions / Uncharted Isle suggestion

For the one with the Wyvern, the amount of gold reward is a bit high.

Maybe do the small gold piles clickable that gives average 150G each and each lad has to pick their own.

Protection from Neutrality Potions do not work - at least the type you can buy in the fire seam don't I do not know if there is a different kind of PF neutral in the module, but the ones that drop also don't seem to work.

Granted this was as of a couple days ago, I didn't see a bug report for it or if it got fixed.
