I just want thank all DMs responsible for creating something fantastically entertaining, complex and challenging, that manages to give the feel of a DM quest without a DM supervising it. Without spoiling anything, I'd like to give a big thumbs up to:
-Scripted persuade checks
-Cool uses of locked doors
-Multiple optional areas and different routes to go.
-A huge quest area with really varied environment and terrain.
Yes, this is probably one of the best quests in efu at the moment. Well done Mort.
Simply loved it.
A constant feeling of "This is difficult as hell!" without the feeling of "Holy shit if I roll an 8 instead of a 9 I could die in a round!"
In other words; Awesome. Simply awesome, the best scripted quest I've done so far.
Yeah, I forgot to mention that. It's not like Orcs where you can get randomly overwhelmed and crit-sploded on a potion AoO or something. It's relatively smaller groups of tough enemies in strong positions, requiring teamwork and decent numbers to beat. Backlining it, I saw plenty of tight situations crop up, but from sudden ambushes or spell barrages, not pure bad luck.
I was there, and it was truly great! And I didn't die once! *coughcough* :D

I've never done it, but it seems it's not hard enough ;)
Died everytime I have gone, and enjoyed every second of it..by far, best quest on the Archipelago, at least that I have seen. And I am sure we did not hit all the areas available in that thing..
Stupid lag... :(
Erm for those who don't think you can get overwhelmed or get unlucky with rolls I have a feeling you didn't notice the REAL danger of this quest! But I'm sure when it eventually crushes you, you'll see it. It's so stealthy I love it.
Hehe. That's what "scratched" Kjetil I think. It's more intermittent than a lot of quests and more defensible though.

I was just trying to laugh in the face of death; I died twice. ;)
