Title: First impression: I'm as lost as I was on day 1 of EFU.
Post by: Vlaid on September 16, 2008, 06:27:35 AM
There seems to have been a ton of changes, I don't even know where to begin looking for them all. I can't find my NWN CD to re-install on my new PC now either, so it's hard to check out the new changes.

But all I can say from the few tid-bits I've found is:

Woah.

All I can say to that is:

Find your frickin' CD and get IG!

My first impression:

- Very original setting! NPCs and places look fantastic, creatively done. Excellent work!
- Gives a nice survivalist feeling. I liked the low magic/economy and dangerous threats roaming nearby.
- Very well designed places. I dislike having to run thousands of empty, useless places. Everything looks compact enough, and the server does smart uses of all the kind of resources of the game, such as placeables and sizing for best effect! Very neat.

Still didn't interact much and my playing time is very short. I'm more of a casual player, but I'm enjoying it a lot!

Congratulations on it!

So I found my CD keys. Just trying to find my groove again now. The jarring change to a brightly lit world full of hope for a better tomorrow is a difficult transition for me in how I approach my PC's, I made one PC and got into it, exploring my new home, my PC ended up coming across with this sunny disposition that made me puke, so I'm back to the drawing board on what to play.

But, I'm relatively excited about this new beginning of EFU:A, and can't wait to see what sort of changes the game world will take.
