Title: More quests that are OMG far away

As a Player of a stealth character, I am curious as to why more quests are being added to the module that are near, at least within 8 areas, tops, of the ziggurat. Few areas are farther away, or in more dangerous areas.

I would like to see quests within the Desert areas, and other areas that are really far out of the way.

Would give people more incentive to explore and travel the server more, even more so given the Random areas ((Which the Desert, and mountain areas could use))

Those areas get random encounters. At least one of the ones mentioned does, for a fact. Other than that, some further quests would be fine (says a nature char).

IMHO its not worth the time to script and test such quests that will rarely be used.

I'd say about half the quests avilable in the module should me near, or next to the ziggurat and/or starwood. And this half should be the cool, relaxed and not-too-rewarding ones.

The other half: Awsome/Epic quests and/or largely rewarding quests should be a good distance from the ziggurat and starwood.

This would ecnourage exploration by other means than huntilng pelts, and also makes such quests even more epic. Especially if we are forced into an area with dangerous encounters to reach this ones. Think about Orcs 2.

I would add to this suggestion, to make leveling form level 2-4 (solo quests and delivery like quests) possible without even stepping on Ziggurat, for any wild like character that gets ported there, will try to leave the city as soon as he finds the woods. Of course, those small quests would be suited for wild-like characters, some of them in starwood, others in exiled's camp ... [shrugs]

if you looked harder you would notice it is perfectly possible to level from 2-4 outside of the zig.
