Title: Tileset Override
Post by: FleetingHeart on July 22, 2009, 03:47:05 AM
First. Love it. For the main area, anyway.

Stepping into the temple district, however, there seems to be some problems with shadows. I know a screenshot would be ideal, but I still haven't gotten that working exactly in linux...

Anyway. Basically anything that should simply be in shadows, is completely black. Not just really really dark, but black. No texture.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Aha! Like this!

You can see that even the shadows on my character are extreme, yet the moment I walk out into the main Zig area, I have no issues.

Environment shadows seem to be faulty with it, yes. I turned them off and it looks wonderful though.

That might have something to do with the area/tile lighting itself, if you only experience it in one area.

So many skulls, staring deeply into my soul, haunting me.  The horror!

Nah seriously, I love it.

Definitely is not environment shadows. Turned them off and have the same effect. :-(

Thats why I wonder if anyone else experiences it. Doesn't seem to be the case though.
