Title: Bug with new no-party system
Post by: IxTheSpeedy on August 02, 2009, 02:42:01 AM
When you have AE'd an animal, after engaging in combat and slaying another creature, the AE'd animal then attacked an ally.

I assume this is not by design.

Thanks.

It sounds a lot like your AE simply wore off and the creature turned back to hostile.

This is rather odd, Strife. I've seen it do this just after it was AE. Not sure what is the cause.

Maybe we could re-do Animal Empathy? Maybe not? But we now have the tools to do it.

To confirm, this is happening. One of our party used AE and the wolf kept wanting to attack allies.

While we're on A.E., you can use Control Companion on an A.E.'d animal even after the domination has ended, allowing you to have two creatures following you, or even controlling a hostile beastie.

Yeah it definately wasn't that AE wore off, it was showing as friendly to me.  Sounds like you have a good idea as to the bug though.

Thanks!

there have been issues of quest party limit not holding. we had accidently more than what limit was.

Rafter also took quite many in, but didn't let one guy off from it when we reached destination. Now he can't get out since rafter is gone as well.

That rafting bug isn't due to party, it's due to people moving when someone speaks to embark/debark. You have to say still or the JumpToLocation command might not fire.
