Title: Wimp Oozes
Post by: BoomdaddyBP on August 06, 2009, 11:57:51 PM
Yeah, I have noticed a great deal of oozes are not immune to sneak attacks or critical hits which makes me wonder if they are immune to the others things they should be. Just seems pretty odd people sneak attacking a mass of goo.

Perhaps a look over these oozes is in order?

I don't know if all of these oozes with the ooze graphic are in fact, meant to be Oozes given where some of them are.

I know what you mean but actual oozes are susceptible too. (Massive leeches, slugs, etc. are not in my factoring).

Some, are leeches, actually. So... yeah they wouldn't be immune to crits.

I do not know about anyone else, but I LIKE my sneak attack.

I'd also like to land massive crits on undead and constructs but that is beside the point, thanks for that input Crimson.

So many things make rogues bad already. Let oozes have a central core that can be sneak attacked.

Rogues are only bad against oozes/constructs/undead. Really. And even then, they are only slightly behind the damage a fighter would be doing since they miss slightly more frequently.

Most everything else just gets wrecked by sneak attacks.

I've noticed this as well, for certain oozes on a certain quest. Then again, not everything with the ooze appearance is an actual ooze.
